citrus never disappoints. clean, trendy and casual atmosphere. the benedicts are very good, especially the crabmeat. have been here for breakfast and lunch and have never left disappointed.greatlocal restaurant. the only negative being that the wait can be a bit long on the weekends, but worth it if you have the time.

had breakfast here this morning and it was fabulous. the staff friendliness is a plus. everyone greeting and checking on you often and our waitress madegreatrecommendations and gave us tip for dinner since this is a breakfast lunch stop. the pecan glaze on banana pancakes a hit with our son and their benedicts are great.

a must eat if your in the area. the soft shell crabs benedict were fantastic. and a croissant as french toast wow. it's busy but the wait is worth it.greatcoffee and a plethora of mimosas.

so this is agreatrestaurant...but...expect the girls in there to let all their friends in front of your party. the staff is to young and clearly don't have the professionalism needed to work in a restaurant setting. but if you can get seated...the food is great. just sad that they don't have a more mature host.

a must for breakfast!. i discovered this place because of diners, drive-ins and dives and it lived up to the show. ate here 2 mornings in a row and left pleased both times. the mango almond french toast is terrific! and my picky eater 4 year old was able to order chicken tenders and fries from the lunch menu at 9:30 a.m. service isgreatand you really feel like they put you first. don't forget to treat yourself to a mimosa, they offer passion fruit and grapefruit juice ones, too! we will be back on our next trip to virginia beach!

my co-worker told me about this place called citrus and raved about their breakfast. he also said the service wasgreatas well. well i went this morning and all i can say isgreatfood, excellent service, and the staff...what can i say? wonderful and friendly!!! and i also met dominque and she is all three statements wrapped in one. she made me feel right at home and even stuck her head out of the door to say goodbye. what can i say? i'm going back!!!

this restaurant is amazing.greatatmosphere, food, mimosas, and very friendly staff. my first visit there i had the crab and shrimp eggs benedict. it was the best i had ever had and it was real crab with good sized shrimp, no fake ingredients here. the mimosas are amazing. they have multiple different ones including a fresh watermelon juice mimosa. it tasted like biting into a slice of watermelon, no artificial flavoring here. on top of theirgreatfood their service is impeccable. upon my first visit i mistakenly left my credit card in the check booklet. the waitress put it in the cash register. upon my return the next day i spoke to the hostess and she told me to talk to my server when i was seated. instead i went straight to the cash register at the bar and spoke to the waitress there. she asked for my id and within a minute came back with my credit card. during the time they had my card (over 24 hours) there were no fraudulent charges made. this is an amazing restaurant and wish they had one in jacksonville, fl. i would recommend this restaurant to everyone even if your only in the norfolk area for a day. the owner/manager frank, is very friendly and knowledgeable. he approached me and told me there was 2 seats open at the bar (first come first serve seating) and did we want them. we took the seats. frank was behind the bar making the drinks, talking to the patrons and helping the staff. this review doesn't even begin to explain how amazing this restaurant is. the only negative aspect of this restaurant is it is always busy so the wait can be up to an hour depending on when you get there. but it is well worth the wait!
