chopstick city - sayaji hotel

loved this restaurant. very yummy food. they are a bit unorganised, but the food and ambience more than made up for it. we ordered a crispy fried vegetables in pepper garlic sauce and the three flavoured chicken for starters. both dishes were very good. the vegetables were well fried and it's sauce was quite delicious. the chicken was tender and again the flavouring was great. for the main course we ordered the burnt garlic fried rice (without the lettuce, which you can mention to the waiter) and vegetable pan fried noodles in (mildly flavoured) chilli garlic sauce. again both the dishes were excellent and up to the mark. would love to visit every time i'm in indore.

chinese... just the way i like it! the food is good. tried chicken hakka noodles and chilly chicken. the service is also fast. will definitely try more of this during next indore visit.

oh wow! this place never fails in terms of taste! try the dimsums and thai green curry its very delicious! they keep serving jasmine tea so that you can balance out the spices and keep your digestive system clean. i loved the place although i feel the service could have been better, even though it wasnt disgusting. its a nice place for family dinners.

i visited chopstick city after a long time and i'm reviewing my latest visit. 

upon arriving i was immediately served jasmine tea, which was warm, but not hot as one would expect. for starters i had the water chestnut, sauteed mushroom (hongkong style) and steamed vegetable dumplings. the taste was excellent, except the fried water chestnut, which did not taste fresh. i recommend the dumplings and the mushroom dishes. for the main course, i had the exotic vegetables with fried rice, wok tossed vegetable hakka noodles, and the vegetable chilli garlic noodles. all were good but i particularly enjoyed the chilli garlic noodles. the jasmine tea could definitely be warmer and green tea could be served instead of jasmine at the end of the meal.

i usually come here as part of large groups, and i must say their service has improved since my last few visits. the staff was courteous and provided prompt service. we also did not have to wait much for food. 

i recommend this restaurant for their service and quality.

not sure why this is the highest rated restaurant in the city. yes, the staff is positive, polite, and professional. however, the interiors are dated. the music is too loud (although not nearly as bad as the worst offenders in town). and the food, although not bad, is thoroughly forgettable. chopstick city is a perfectly good restaurant, and you probably won't be disappointed if you go, but imo there are other restaurants in indore to better spend your money.

i visited this place few times back when moon festival is organized there. it's a one of the oldest chinese/oriental food place at indore.  service as usual top-notch here, from booking manager to waiter all are polite and humble. we order golden fried crispy prawns, chilly chicken and chicken fried rice here and all the preparations is excellent with good quantity and quality. only thing is, if they facelift this place a bit more it would be more nicer to visit.

amazing service after paying more than 300 rupees. thanks for the complimentary hair in the food.
