great ambience,food was exceptional!

i had been to chopstick city restaurant and our experience regarding the food and services was outstanding. the food we had ordered was simply superb and chef akshay had personally taken care of our taste requirements. i and my family have decided to make this as our permanent choice for chinese food.

well lets start with the interior, its nice and well decorated. the sitting can be a wee bit uncomfortable. the chairs are weird. the starters options are wonderful. specially for non veg and seafood items is good, as only a hand few restaurants in indore serve sea food.

we started with wantons [chicken] which were amazing. we followed by a plate of drums of heaven, which too was good. the quantity is good so do not order too much. they serve 8 pieces with the drums of heaven and 6 with wantons. also, please check with the waiters there for some off the menu items as they can be surprisingly good.

all in all the experience and the food was good. it would've only been better had they served alcohol as well. i'm not sure if they do but i did not see it on the menu and did not bother asking.

really good place and authentic chinese food. must try if one has liking for chinese food.

this is the only chinese restaurant that i prefer in the city. must visit if you're an authentic chinese cuisine lover.

must try: hunan prawns , chicken egg fried rice, basil prawns, chocolate rolls.

i wish they served fortune cookies as well to make it a true chinese experience.

i was there with my family. we went for only soups and starters. i absolutely loved the food. the ambiance was great. we had crispy chilli chicken, american corns, hot n sour soup and chicken corn soup. overall the experience was really good and the food was amazing.

my only complaint was the service. they didn't gave us any privacy. the waiters kept irritating us by constantly asking about how the food is. they kept interrupting us and looking at our table for some reason which could be because there were not many customers for them to attend. other than that i would highly recommend it.

dissatisfied is the word.poorest service out of all sayaji restaurents.even after an hour of waiting for orders the starters were not served; and to add to the insult our order was served on the next table.when asked to lodge a complaint we were told it will be attended in next two days.left hotel at 11 pm without having food.it was our first visit to this particular restaurant and would be last it seems.i have been a gr8 fan of sayaji restaurants and still swear by kebabsville.a recent visit to the mediterra only elevated my expectations bcoz of there impeccable service.but this visit at chopsticks spoilt it all.really felt bad at the state of affairs as had to leave hotel with my family without dinner at 11 pm and search for other place to eat.sayaji please respond!!!

very good food. the only authentic chinese restaurant in indore, service impeccable . quality and quantity very good. value for money. must visit especially during their festivals. staff very knowledgeable.

if you are looking for a place specially for chinese food, then on the first note you must visit this place. excellent chinese food with fine quality. combination of chinese + indian taste makes it a perfect dinner place with your loved one's.you may find it somewhat difficult to decide what to order if you are looking for manchurian, etc as they have customized dish names. captain may be the best person to guide as per your needs. we even told to add some indian taste to it - bit spicy and not too much like chinese.ambiance is decent too. they have a very good entrance and seating place.

price is always on the upper side due to sayaji branding.

the food at chopstick city is excellent. the ambiance is pretty good too. i would definitely recommend this place. on both occasions we went here, all the items we ordered were very tasty.

the service was very good once and average the other time.

one con is that not all the tables are spaced out. this means that if you do not have the right table, you may be sitting too close to the other table which is a bit of a dampener on the fine dining.

quite a disappointment awaits those who visited this place earlier, which now seems to be eons ago! chopsticks was at its prime when being managed by the duo bhaskar and ajay, and from then on, its just taken a tumble. went there for an oriental festival that was just organised, and ended up getting three dishes, on suggestion from the staff, carrying the same flavours.

still one of the places which would win you over on pure ambience, but for the quality of food, i believe they have it in them to return to their original standards, (which sayaji is known for)

their crackling spinach and lettuce with glass noodles, waterchestnuts and plum sauce for starters, along with pan fried noodles are of international standards, while their non veg options still leave a bit to be desired in preparation.

whats further disappointing is that the server's there are unable to suggest you with choices that would appeal to your palate probably due to their own limitation on understanding of the menu. look forward to be able to again rate this restaurant to the potential it carries
