chick chocolate cafe

one of the most iconic eating joint in the queen of hills- mussoorie. this place has always been in limelight and they have maintained the same with both ambience & food. chic chocolate has been my favourite joint since childhood as i was in boarding school in dehradun for 10 yrs and use to travel tomussoorieduring weekend.

this time we tried-

cold coffee- i opted for classic cold coffee as i don't experiment with coffee and the taste reminded me of good old days.

slush- this was our favourite drink during school days, i tried both orange & lemon. orange was refreshing but lemon had a green apple flavour and did not taste well.

chicken momo- recently they have opened up a chinese restaurant just adjacent named "soy" and added chinese menu in chic chocolate. this dish was amazing was temting to take another plate but had to control as there were other places and food to explore.

hot chocolate fudge- this is their speciality and they have till now maintained the same. this dish was amazing but cannot be finished by just one person if you are eating other stuffs. a must try.

during our stay inmussoorie, i had a craving of hot chocolate fudge .
so i visited this outlet as i heard a lot about this place and ordered hot chocolate fudge .
i really had a very nice experience and it tasted amazing

#chickchocolate can easily be termed as any chocoholic's paradise - it started as a small candy store which used to sell softies and is a pretty old shop as far as i know - not sure about the exact year though when it started operations.. an iconic food joint now inmussoorie- a go to place for travellers, tourists & locals alike.. beautiful cafe with very bright interiors and unusually high ceiling offering a nice view from those huge glass windows.. the service can be a tad better - prices are at the higher end of the spectrum but more or less worth it..

they are famous for thier #handmadechocolates - i tried almost 10 odd varieties and fell in love instantly with most of them.. the #oreocoffeecheesecake was a revelation - one of the best i have tried till date and even the #chocolatebrownie was to die for..

however, the star of the show was certainly the #spanishhotchocolate - thick and extremely delicious - every sip was like chocolate heaven - certainly the #best i have ever had anywhere (yes, my favourites at kolkata included - you guys need to buck up now 😄)..

i don't know how much i miss #mussoorie or #landour but i will miss this place madly - can go back again multiple times just for this one joint.. ❤️❤️

this place has been here since ages! and whenever i am inmussooriethis place is on top of my list! i have been going here since my childhood for chocolates and ice creams! they keep adding certain items in the menu but the chocolates are to die for!

as known by it's name, once inmussoorieyou can't miss visiting this place. the huge variety of chocolate is to die for... 😍😍😍😍 it's like the wonderworld of chocolate.

i had a snickers shake and cold coffee with ice cream and it was really thick and real ! especially snickers shake had the real bites of snickers and chocolate crumbles😍😋 if you visitmussooriedo visit this place! lit ambiance 😍 and they serve a delicious thin crust pizzas, burgers and chips and many more other items😋

this place is located on mall road and you can easily find it. they serve alot of dishes but i specifically wanted to try their hot chocolate brownie fudge

which is priced at 290/ plus taxes which i feel is quite overpriced
there are nuts chocolate brownie and alot of stuff but quantity is quite less taste is really good .

but i will definitely say that you can have better things in same price

then ordered cheesy garlic bread which was not so cheesy and i didn't like it

the service is quick ambience is pretty decent but prices are on a higher side

i’ve studied till my 10th standard inmussoorieand i recently visited after a span of 11 long years and i’d really wanna say here that not a single thing inmussoorieis the same but their fruit cream..... it still tastes the same it used to many years back..... i was there for 4 good days and every day i’d make sure i had their fruit cream once at least.....

chick chocolate cafe has to be one of the best cafes/bakery, i have ever been to right from it's off beat hollywood inspired posters to it's cozy interiors it sets the perfect mood. i am a fan of the hot chocolate served by the cafe as well the hand made chocolates that are available and everytime i visitmussooriethis is my must visit.

visited this place post lunch just to have deserts but there was soo much more i wanted to try.
we had the brownie fudge with ice cream which i must say was the best desert i had in mussorrie!
the cheesecake was also decent. they have a whole bunch of chocolates that you can buy. themussooriestick here was also great!

i have been coming to this place since i was 3 years old. it was a must visit place for me when in mussoorie. visited the place almost after 5 years. seems still the same. nothing has changed at all. but not sure if that’s for good. with more and more people coming in the place has become a little snobbish and has forgotten what service means. staff and owners are not at all courteous and make you feel like you’ve committed a mistake by coming to their place and expecting anything. though the food quality is still similar which makes it worthwhile if you have abundance of time to waste and endlessly wait for your food. this restaurant has thrived being the pioneer at the cuisine it served at a time it was even unheard off in the ncr. today they have forgotten that there are 10 other restaurants waiting inmussooriewith same or better quality for similar price. disappointed. nothing else to say.

fan of pan cakes , waffels and similarities. and you are atmussoorie, visit here. well decorated cafe . one of the best place to hang out. wide variety of options. once you are comfortable with food you enjoys the ambience, which is well made.

this is possibly the best bakery i ever visited in terms of everything . the environment , staff , the decorations and most importantly the fresh food .
they serve burgers , sandwiches, different variety of cakes and pastries .

the best part was the hot chocolate brownie and rum balls . i have never tasted such great rum balls before .

they offer a huge space and very comfortable seating .

i would recommend this place as a must if you are visitingmussoorie.

nice cosy ambience and a just perfect place to hangout with friends and family on your holiday. amazing place for chocolate lovers and those with a sweet tooth. the location to is amidst the hustle and bustle of the mall road inmussooriewhich is quite lively and joyful.

i have tried pasta and cheese cake which i loved so much. the taste was so fresh.

in pasta - peri peri sauce pasta - the taste was of this pasta was so yummy and cheesy with lil spice peri peri flavoured in it. overall i like the pasta.

desert - oreo coffee cheese cake - trust me i never had an amazing taste of cheese cake in my life, this was so amazing so chocolatey with cheese. please visit here try at least once. you will never regret.

overall i highly recommend this place.

when inmussooriethis is the go to place to satisfy sweet cravings. it is bang on mall road, easy access and oh my god amazing chocolate. specially during winters it seems like heaven for anyone who loves choco.
