found hair in my sushi. terrible customer service with manager (carolyn) response not understanding. we will not be back again as who wants to see hair in their food?

good atmosphere and service, the sushi however was over priced and not very good, i'd rather eat sushi from the grocery store than eat here again.

holy cow, what crappy sushi. plus, techno music at lunch. i don't even like to listen to that noise when i'm drunk.

disappointed. went with my boyfriend and his mother for mothers day. just to find out that the happy hour menu only was valid if you are only in the smoking section. i have an allergy to cigarettes and hate the way it smells. i really didn't want to sit in the section. i asked very politely if we could have the happy hour menu at our booth and the waitress asked her manager frank if we could and he told us no. we would have to sit in the smoking section and blamed it on behalf of what the gm had told him. i have gone to chi since i found out about it 3 years ago and i have spent lots of money on their amazing food. i will not be going back now thanks to this experience.

there are many sushi places in and around the woodlands superior to chi. this one feels more like a club/lounge than a fine eating establishment. it smells like smoke and surfaces/walls/furniture are dirty. sushi came out room temperature rather than chilled. perhaps a fun evening hang out to have a drink, but i wouldn't go for the food.

terrible service and management. went there with my family myself, husband and 3 boys. were seated in the rear of of the restaurant. 4 of us ordered the all you can eat and 1 of my boys ordered chicken katsu. we were told the whole table must order hd all you can eat or we would have to sit at seperate tables. really. my boy would have to eat by himself. asked to talk to manager and he said he would have to sit by himself. i told him that it is not printed anywhere about this. the manager took our menus nd said good bye.
really rude service. can't not believe that he attitude.

i haven't even eaten there yet --but , the site is fantastic --and looks fantastic  sooooo, i'll try & get by there today !!!

the service and management is horrible! do not go here. ever.
we had a "new server" that had no clue what was going on. the manager didn't step in til got up to talk to him about what was going on. multiple tables around us with no service, took 30 min for table to get ticket.

went in for lunch and no one was there it took forever for our food to come put and the bill too even longer to get

seriously the worst service i have ever received! the first time was at the bar and the second time was at a table. ill just say the icing on the cake was when our server brought us the bill with his shirt untucked and unbuttoned and a ball cap on saying he needed to catch a ride, and they weren't even closed yet! the manager offered to buy us a drink the next time we were there, there won't be a next time buddy!!! don't waste your money on poor service because they will grat you

just ok. the sushi was mediocre, but the stench of cigarettes was too much. the bar-like atmosphere is cool, but the smell ruins the restaurant. i doubt they'll get a second chance.

entire place smells like a dirty ashtray. when you first enter this restaurant, you're in the giant bar/smoking area. you have to walk through it to get in and out. nothing except some hanging beads separate the bar and smoking area from the dining room, and just one or two people smoking stinks up the whole place.

while our food looked and tasted great, we couldn't enjoy it due to the constant stench of cigarette smoking that circulated around the entire restaurant, regardless of where you were seated.

this place has great chefs and really good food. presentation and taste were awesome. our server was good but not great. all of that could have been fine with us, but we left as soon as we were done just to get some fresh air.

go here if you are looking for a nightclub-style place that also serves great sushi and food. we'd love to go back, but won't because of the nasty smell in this place.

acceptable sushi but not excellent. i give it 3 out if 5 stars.

best sushi in the woodlands. i am a regular and have had sushi all over north america. chi is among the best places i have had sushi. while it may be time for a menu overall, all of the classics are there and they are consistently good. also, where else can you get sushi after 1pm on saturday night in the woodlands?

fun nightlife. myself, my husband and a couple of friends of mine came here on night. none of us have tried it before and we figured we might as well be adventurous. we were not disappointed. the service was good, the food excellent and the atmosphere is very nightlife feeling at night. i had the kobe beef burger, which was excellent. we also have tried their sushi, which was awesome. their drinks were also amazing from the bar. overall, loved the place. will be coming back.
