a very small cosy restaurant with super cool staff and amazing food! i loved thetrufflecheese wheel spaghetti with the chilli paste the serve with it! their carbonara and gnocchi was pretty good - needed a bit more flavour in my opinion.

my favourite carbonara ever!! also thetrufflecheese wheel pasta is to die for. everything here has always been a treat. they make their own pickles and chilli sauce which are great accompaniments. tiny place so can be hard to get a table but worth the wait. will come back any day ❤️❤️

i read lots of good reviews about yourtrufflepasta. unfortunately i have to give you 1 star for it.
my pasta was overcooked and cold!! this is because the chef pre cooks pasta, then leaves it aside and waits the order. then he warms pasta in the boiling water and serves it in cheese. pasta is not hot enough to melt the cheese and observe the flavour. won’t recommend it to people who looking for a true italian style pasta.
p.s i didn’t like that guy who washes dishes and cleans the bar helps the chef to serve pasta.

cannot recommend this place enough! we did have to wait in line for 30mins but it was so worth it. this place is well known for its pasta so of course we had to try it out!

we ordered their famoustrufflecacio e pepe and ricotta gnocchi with wild mushroom ragu and wow they were incredible! the gnocchi was so soft and chewy, and the mushroom sauce was creamy and tasted absolutely delicious. theirtrufflecacio e pepe came with spaghetti noodles, salt and pepper, parsley, black truffles, served out of a sardinian truffled pecorino cheese wheel and it was so delicious! the cheese taste was very strong and nothing i had ever tried before. definitely worth the hype and is a must try!!

to be honest the portion sizes weren’t that big compared to the amount we were paying, but the flavour and quality of the pasta was 100% there!

amazingtrufflepasta and definitely one of the best in sydney! service is usually outstanding, however have recently experienced unfriendly service with one of the waitresses there on two separate occasions.

for lunch here, i had their meat platter (culatello prosciutto +trufflesalami) and my friend had theirtrufflecacio é pepe, then we each had our glasses of pinot noir and prosecco. the dishes by themselves were ammmmazing.😍 i never thought i’d be fully satisfied with our meal.

we visited chester white cured diner as we heard so much hyped about it. went there on monday afternoon for lunch with a high expectations, but let down with the poor service and the freshness of the food.

we ordered the two meats selection and added duck pate. meat selection was nice while the duck pate was a bit too overpowering (it has some weird taste to it). when the 2 meats selections arrived, there was no bread/ crackers to accompany the dish with. turns out the waitress was too busy chatting with other staff and forgot our bread that was being toasted in the oven. i had to get up personally and asked for the bread. when it came out, it was overly toasted and too crispy! (she didn't even offered to make another one or even apologise!).

we also orderedtrufflecacio e pepe, which was brought to us with the infamous cheese wheel. we think it was mediocre, there wasn't muchtruffletaste to it. it was bland and dry (almost just like eating a boiled pasta with shaved cheese,a bit of salt & cracked pepper on top). maybe we were let down by the poor customer service at first, and it obviously affected on the second dish we had. it was monday afternoon and wasn't busy at all! overall experience was okay. the highlight was just the meats selections. definitely not going to come back.

chester white cured diner is a cozy, small little charcuterie bar on orwell street in potts point which serves some delightful home-style pastas and cured meats. the casual and affable dining-bar reminds me of buffalo dining club and the hooks of cured meats behind the tiled bars exude a distinctive friendly style of service.

i ordered chestini, a house-made espresso martini, and refilled cacco e pepe, spaghetti with salt and pepper, parsley and blacktruffleserved in a pecorino cheese wheel. the overall taste of the pasta was acceptable but the spaghetti was visually overcooked and mushy whereas the black truffles and cheese wheel were gimmicky rather than having any real impact on its flavour.

however, the distinctive friendly and relaxing vibe at the restaurant is probably deserving a visit but i might not return again.

it is official... i have found my new favourite restaurant to date! i had been wanting to try chester white out for quite some time now, but it wasn't until last friday night i ended up in potts point on a little dinner adventure that resulted in me finally being able to try out this little gem!

upon arrival we were greeted by the owner of the restaurant (service was an 11/10!!) who seated us out the front but explained we would be moved inside shortly. there was the perfect amount of time between us arriving, looking at the menu, ordering, drinks and having our food come out. the owner explained the different wines and made recommendations based on our preferences and it is safe to say that all of his recommendations were amazing!

when it came to the entree's, we ordered the cured platter with the capacollo prosciutto (from the shoulder blade) and the morcon salami (classic spanish salami with chilli, garlic, paprika, rum, nutmeg and more!). honestly the best prosciuttio i have ever come across! the meats were shaved to perfection and the cheeses, olives and pickles served with them complimented them perfectly too. for our mains we ordered the ricotta ghnocchi (hand rolled and made in house with basil and hazelnut pesto) and the truffled cacio e pepe (spaghetti, salt and pepper, parsley, black truffles, served out of a sardinian truffled pecorino cheese wheel). normally i am not a fan of ghnocchi at all but i would legitimately come back here to get this particular dish. it melted in my mouth and the flavour of the pesto was so incredibly fresh that i was in heaven! thetrufflecacio e pepe was divine also! so fresh, so tasy and it was something i could not fault! overall, the music, service, atmosphere, and ofcourse the food was all incredible and i would recommend them in a heartbeat!

super lovely people running the place! it's very cosy spot so no bookings but we were lucky that there was still space for us when we got there around 7:30pm.

had the roasted cauliflower, trufflespaghetti (served out of an awesome cheese wheel - like buffalo dining club) and carbonara. all amazing. they even make their own chilli sauce, which kind of reminds me of the chilli sauce you get when you have hainanese chicken rice. pretty sure i cleaned up half the jar...

would definitely go back 👌🏻

i love this place ! it's a simple menu and i loved every single thing i tried ! even the picked grapes in the salad and home made chilly source !! the spaghetti fromtrufflecheese wheel is definitely a must try! the boys are super friendly and knows they food well. only downsize is the place is a bit small, so to get a table is at lease one hour wait on friday night! but it is definitely worth it!
