this used to be our after-office hangout a couple of years ago before covid forced us all indoors. we have always been happy with their service quality and food quality. took the opportunity to spend my wife's birthday here recently and once again, we were not disappointed.
food:
we started with a mutton and chicken starter. the former was exquisite, very well cooked and the mutton just dropping off the bone. we then branched out into pizza and cheese garlic bread, both of which were great. in place of a birthday cake, we ordered cheesecake which was fantastic.
service:
the staff were happy to accommodate our requests. they offered to turn up the lights for a video call (to cut the cheesecake with family). the waiting staff were attentive and asked for feedback multiple times without being too intrusive.
ambience:
chapter one is spread across multiple floors, so you can choose theambienceyou want. we sat at on the third floor, next to the window. the music was at a suitable volume to allow us to speak comfortably. the other floors have louder music for those who want that.
summary:
we enjoyed our visit to chapter one. it lived up to my memories. i would recommend this to anyone looking for a restaurant with good ambience, great food, and excellent service.
