the food was very traditional and authentic. we had mutton biryani, meat balls, fish fry,prawnpepper, mutton sukka, rice with chicken curry, mutton curry, fish curry and rasam. loved the banana leaf meal experience.

not worth for money. 10rs pickle packet quantity will be more than the quantity what they served for 225rsprawnand average taste. chicken gravy was served with only bones and oily . big disappointment mainly it didn't fill my kid tummy as well.

food taste is very good there is no doubt about it.but the quantity is very low almost i paid 250rs for thisprawngravy.generally the box size is very small and the gravy quantity is only half of it size

had visited this place earlier and took a take away recently, both were good experiences. their mutton kola was so far the best i've tasted in madurai next only to my grandma's recipe.. and also theirprawnroast was made to utmost perfection with proper deveining and cooking of the prawn.. this place tops my list of new favourites..

great food compared with their rival amma mess. i love their mutton chukka, briyani andprawnroast. their kola urundai is also amazing.
my only issue with chandran mess is that the quantity for the price we pay is less.
