champps restaurant & bar

just got done eating in mikes section, 3 top at tbl 3 i think and we had a great time!! all of us are in the service industry and really appreciated mike's attitude and his ability to up sell and give us the best experience here that we ever had! burgers + dranks + mike = champps ftw. thanks mike!!!!

firt time in and omelette bar was awesome! jeremy was a pleasure. only thing i don't care or was the hash browns but it was a great experience overall. plus $1 mimosas!

we had dinner here twice during our recent vacation. the kids loved it, a big bonus when traveling.
champps is a nicely appointed sports bar located conveniently close to the north dfw hotels. open, airy, and bright; friendly helpful staff, and reasonable prices.
for me the calling card is their burgers; big, well cooked and flavourful. there are an excellent selection of options. if you don't want a burger, we exhausted several other options - fish, pasta, chicken - without finding an option that disappointed.
the place also has a wide variety of options from a draft standpoint including many excellent local craft beers.
cost wise the price is fair - about $130-159 bar and tip in; quite reasonable when you consider the proximity to the airport. i will be back again the next time i'm in town.

i work at las colinas surgery center in irving. we placed a huge order for the staff, surgeons and anesthesiologists today. i am so pleased to be able to review that everything was perfect. the orders were exactly as i ordered, they wrote our names on each meal, and they were neatly packaged and waiting for me when i arrived. there is nothing worse than a hungry medical staff so thank you, champps!

las colinas surgery center

i had the kung pau chicken. it was fantastic. funny thing, i wasn't expecting a fantastic meal since my perception was this place was just a sports bar. if you like this dish, do yourself a favor and order this!

not impressed. maybe it was the time of the evening or the large group i was with, but i was not all that impressed. we had a round of sampler appetizers that were ok, pretty standard. i had a club sandwich with coleslaw. the club was just ok, a bit on the dry side, lacking much lettuce or tomato, and too much bacon--that overpowered it. the coleslaw was not as good as many i've had, and a bit on the salty side. it's bar food. not great, just ok. service was pretty good though

airport location very good. i recently went to champps in the dallas ft. worth airport. i had a very nice experience there. i had a long layover and went there to eat, but ended up staying talking to other customers and employees. . i had the french onion soup and parmesan crusted chicken for dinner, both were very good. my husband had the steak and ejnoyed in also. the staff was very friendly and it seemed as alot of the customers were hanging out as we were. the restaurant was very clean and a nice place to sit back while on a layover. when in dallas airport this is a must restaurant to spend your day.

bad service becomes great service. went to champps to have some drinks and a light dinner. drinks were good. noise in the bar was steady but not too overly loud.

elected to have something light, ordered a salad. it was decent tasting and large portion, however it took nearly 25 minutes to get to the table.

i wrote the mgr of champps a note about all of the above. to my house within 2 business days arrives a fedex overnight package with a $15 gift certificate to champps and a letter with an apology and a wish that i'll come back.

you think i'll go back? absolutely.
