so chai break opened it's branches in bhubaneswar. having heard of it , i decided to try this place out. french fries, veg arrabiata and non veg risotto, with apizzawere the order. the food was okay, overpriced and this place is simply overrated. only thing good is the ambience for the bhubaneswar crowd

the chai break chain has definitely made me happy by entering the bhubaneswar eat out scene. chai break bhubaneswar is a little paradise for food and hookah lovers. i always preferred the well lit indoor seating area. none of the eateries in bhubaneswar offer pita bread with hummus, hence i was delighted to find falafel with pita bread listed on their menu. i ordered it every time i visited this place, till i got bored of it. the mushroom duplex was amazing the first time i tasted it, but unfortunately i was not impressed with the dish the second time i had it. wok fried chicken wings are a little too sweet. the bbq chickenpizzais nice. the risotto al funghi has an overwhelming taste of cheese in it. i would recommend either pasta arrabiata or pasta alfredo. the vegetarian pastas are at par with their non vegetarian counterparts but i'd say i like the prawn toppings in either of the above mentioned pastas. the virgin mojito is good but the ice can make it quite diluted, hence you can always ask them to include less number of ice cubes in the drink. i also liked their kit kat shake. the music can be a little loud at times. service is good. in a nutshell, chai break should definitely be on your list if you are looking for decent ambience and good food. the place will continue to woo customers if they do not compromise with their service and quality in the days ahead.

a good place to chill. cozy seating area with good music perfect for a lazy weekend hangout (and of course, hukkah).pizzaand stuffed pockets are really good.

all the dishes were delish and delectable. they have added some unique fusion dishes as well which tasted heavenly. ❤

i love the margheritapizzaand the chilli mushroom out here! worth every penny! must visit. the management and ambience is also good. would love to visit again!

now you can try the fusion of both , chicken tikka pizza, the perfect blend of mild indian masalas and italian herbs topped with cheese makes thispizzaexceptional and a new seasoning. thispizzais very delicious and with extra cheese, the combination is so tempting. small chunks of chicken tikka pieces are bestrewed overpizzabut they are less in number and thepizzacrust is more stiff than it should be, rather than thatpizzatastes awesome with oregano and other seasonings.

ordered 4 toppings pizza. it was thin crust, perfect amount of toppings and wonderfully baked. bestpizzain town, must say!!

chai break, as many of you know is one of the famous chains within cafe culture.
it was a nice comfortable experience starting from once we walked in down the cafe. we were the first ones who reached there yesterday for dinner.
it was dripping outside and we were in a mood for some serious good food.
truly speaking, i was in a dilemma about what to order but finally we settled in with 3 of the terrific dishes.

1. crispy prawn potli - it was such a filling starter with generous amount of prawn stuffing within sheet pockets and served with mango salsa. the sweet salsa tasted awesome along with the deep fried pockets.
2. bbq chickenpizza- it was thin crusted 10inchpizzawith ample amount of chicken pieces, tomato slices, bbq flavoured sauce and perfect amount of cheese. i am a person who generally doesn’t orderpizzaafter visiting any cafe. but this time i thought of giving it a shot. cb actually proved me that i can put my trust on that. thepizzawas outstanding.
3. pan seared fish - i have gained serious weakness for basa after coming to this city. i was lucky to get the best quality basa fishes every time when i selected it for dining in. the fish was so soft and flaky. they served the rice which was long grained and contained nice amount of veggies. there was also buttered veggies as add ons. the fish fillet along with the white sauce was buttery and smooth in the palate.
we were so full that we had to skip the dessert. but next i am going to taste them for sure.
the only backdrop is their less eagerness to serve. the service could have been more proactive. other than that the two foodies had happy tummies while leaving for the night.

chai break ............ talking about it the ambience was awesome , i loved it. it is very comfortable and great . the service and service staff was good. i had tried a 4 toppingspizzaand pasta along with supreme nachos and chocolate shake. we had asked for a plain chocolate shake but they gave us a mint chocolate shake. though it wasn't bad but i would have preferred the normal chocolate shake. there is one more thing that people should know is the menu displayed in the zomato app is not the real menu . they have changed the menu and now they have a different menu. the prices are on a higher side in the new menu but the food has made up for it . thepizzaand pasta , both were fantastic ........ i hope to visit chai break more often.

friendly and the best service i have seen in bhubaneswar. the staff is clearly well trained, extremely attentive. they re polite and know what’s on the menu. ask a question and you ll get an answer. none of that “i don’t know”, “let me ask the chef”, etc. the mushroom soup is on point, the pastas are good, and thepizzamargherita kills it! flavours are as they should be. their manager - mr. ranjan is always on top of things. my only complaint would be the small water bottles they provide. it d be ofcourse cheaper if they used the 1 ltr bottles.

innovative sitting arrangements!! food and drinks are good though it does not match up with their namesake in kolkata. theirpizzais pricey but one of the best in bbsr. the service staff should improve!! overall recommendable!!

undoubtedly one of the nicest place to hangout in the city, loved the ambience, nice , cosy place to spend a nice good time with friends. best thin crustpizzaand hookah in town.

the place serves delicious food with good ambiance and great service. they have a separate section for hookah lover.
we ordered various dishes and all were amazing from something as basic as soup.

stand out dish was chef special garlic bread, its a must for the cheese lover. (pic not available, as nobody waited to click and just gobble it)

penne pasta was well prepared and chilli garlic noodles was just the perfect variety that we needed.

it is one of the 'must visit' in bbsr..if u r a big foodie..loved the food - 4/5.,ambience ws grt - 4/5,.,quick service - 4/5, also..has different seating areas according to ur preference..has an open balcony space wid a big tv & cute lighting.,best for youngsters..& a different seating (inside) for families.,for starters we had sauteed mushrooms wid a hint of garlic.,jst cudn't 've enough of those tiny li'l bursts of happiness.,mojito ws good.,& had masala coke(they can also make a simple masala coke taste amazing).,had chicken in black pepper sauce & hakka noodles.,& 4 toppingpizza- ws d best..wantd 2 've another one though.,bt had no space left..this place can't disappoint u..no matter what u order..wud definitely wanna visit again..

i had heard many good reviews about their pizza. my friends told me that it is way better than dominoes orpizzahut. so i finally decided to give it a try.
i was pleasantly surprised. this was way better . it had a thin crust so it felt crunchy, not bread-y. the quantity of cheese was also good.

we also had iced mocha and cappuccino. just the way it should taste. 

this place is a bit on the expensive side, but i will recommend splurging once in a while for their speciality dishes.

-0.5 for not offering free water. i have seen that it has become a new trend to serve bottled water and then add that also in the menu. this place is not pocket-friendly so at least the customer should be given the choice if they want bottled water or not
