tajimaya’s eat all you can at p550 is a steal. their meat is thinly sliced and tender, you only need to grill it a few short minutes. waitstaff are friendly and attentive. come to tajimaya when you don’t mind smelling delicious after your meal.

i think this is the best yakiniku restaurant ever! definitely a must try. it’s worth every single penny. i will never hesitate to come back especially for the wagyu beef 😋

one of the best cook-it-yourself restos in cebu. although pricier than most restaurants of this genre, their food is worth it. their meat melts in your mouth as the flavors explode in your tastebuds which will make you forget how pricy it is.

i’ve eaten here thrice before. my past experiences were definitely 5-star, but my most recent experience was not. service was extremely slow and waitresses seemed to be very absentminded. this happened on march 23, 2019, at dinnertime. we ordered our all-you-can-eat and we had to follow up the order twice within 20 minutes because we were never served. once we were served, one of my companions asked for a coke zero, to which the waitress replied, “san mig, sir?” my companion repeated that he wanted a coke zero, and when the waitress came back, she brought a bottle of san mig. later on, we asked for one serving of fries, which took more than 10 minutes to serve. additionally, we were given service water, but the waitresses would take 5-10 minutes to bring a pitcher to refill our glasses. in my past experiences, we never even had to ask for our glasses to be refilled. we were nearing the end of our dinner, and the waitress asked me if i wanted to refill the container of sauce (not the saucer, but the small pot thing). i said yes and she took it with her to the kitchen. she never came back with it. we even ordered more food after she took it with her, and we never got it back, even after we paid the bill.

the food was great, as usual. i’m just extremely disappointed in the service. it really ruined my experience at the restaurant, especially since i only really go there to celebrate special occasions.

the food is great and grilled over real charcoal. the flavor of the meat in the all you can eat special is very good. the cost is 650 per person not 550 as some reported before. the rice is extra as is so many other things you might want to try. added spicy japanese sausage which tasted great but it was almost 800 add for 2 people.
if you want cheap or moderately priced food this is not the place to go. the sides are a joke too.
the winner is the grill and the various types of meat.
will i go back? yes
just have to know what you want to spend before you walk in or you end up paying 3000 for 2 which is what happened today.

great food and great service. the staff was attentive and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. ambiance is okay. i've only tried their eat-all-you-can and it was totally worth it, especially their beef. once you've tasted it, you'll find yourself craving for it every now and then, believe me!! it's so good 🤤 the ambiance is great and intimate for family or a special someone. will definitely come back for more.

amazing food and great staff. their “all you can eat” option has a great selection to fill your stomach to the max for a great price. if you want to spend a little more money to experience premium quality beef and seafood, you can do that as well. i highly recommend this restaurant if you want a great eating experience!

tip: 1.call in advance to save a seat because they get really jam packed esp during dinner time. 2.avoid the seats upstairs unless you’re really in a big group..it takes time for them to bring the food there. there was this one time, we ended up with the bill instead of the extra beef plates because it took a loooong while we got tired of waiting. 3.i’m not sure if the call bell upstairs works.🙄 still gonna keep coming back for wagyu beef cravings though.🤤

eat all you can for 550php is a good deal! their meat is good, tender and easily cooked. i don’t eat vegetables but i did not mind having their lettuce salad with shrimp sauce, it was good too good not to eat them. one can have more than enough to eat in this place.

the tajimaya branch we ate at was located in the area where i work, and boy, did i wish i discovered it sooner! good thing my fiance introduced me to the place because it. is. good.

the food is really great. meat is already marinated with spices and sauces which results in a very savory taste after grilling. they also have authentic japanese spices and sauces which add to the overall great experience.

what i really like about the place is their table-grill system, which has air vents at the inside of the grill area. this prevents smoke from rising above and being so much of a bother, unlike other restaurants. they also use charcoal grill, so you can only expect the best.

prices are a bit expensive (though they do have unlimited meat at php550 per person), but if you're looking for great japanese food, then this is definitely the place!

my go-to buffet to satisfy my wagyu cravings! roughly p1,100.00 for two people for lunch and p1,300.00 for dinner plus service charge. yes, service charge. sad. lol. although their beef is the best in the city, i rated them 4 stars plainly because of their slow service :( even asking for water or a refill would take time. haha but overall, i love taji!!

great place to have a charcoaled yakiniku and a japanese beer and cocktails. meats are premium and well marbled. i prefer and ordered the wagyu karubi and it is outstanding, the meat is so tender extremely marbled! it melts in your mouth like butter! this is the true gastronomic pleasure! note that this is a very high grade beef from one of the best cows in japan and comes with a price. ambience is comforting! service is excellent! worth every penny!

the food served were great specially when you’re with the best company! we availed their unlimited package and it was so worth it! the ambiance too was great and their staff were really accommodating! would really recommend their unlimited package. reservations are accommodated, better reserve first before going so you will surely have a seat!

really good food! especially the beef! the service is sometimes slow depending on the number of customers dining there. the salad also tastes good cause of the dressing. just have to cook it right cause taste will be really affected. 👍
