cavanaugh's restaurant is a cheap bar that's popularized by many of the college students in the area. it usually always has a young, casual crowd with a sports bar feeling. therefore, they have a lot of drink and food specials. i've eaten some of their fried food platters (like fries, onion rings, and sandwiches) along with my drinks. the speciality cocktails aregooddepending on the day too. cavanaugh's is a nice place to grab a drink with friends on any school break. once school is in session, it becomes a little difficult to enjoy the place, as it's usually packed.
