catalina's coffee destroys everyone else. i thought i knewgoodcoffee before but catalona schooled me. i almost wish i had never been so i could drink coffee elsewhere without dissapppintment.

the baristas here are reallygoodand very friendly. this was my first time in houston and i wanted to visit local coffee shops and experience their brewed coffee. i have to say i loved it. nothing can brighten up your day better than a perfectly brewed hot coffee. 

this is a must visit place if you are in downtown houston. i would definitely recommend it.

the cold drip coffee machine on the counter helps make the place look 'legit'. they got prettygoodcoffee and a varied selection of pastries (loved the danish and muffins). but overall... for hangin' out and brunchin' i prefer going to blacksmith. catalina is more for grabbing a quick coffee when you're headed somewhere.

cute place withgoodcoffee! blueberry muffin is really good, too. sucks that they don't have wi-fi seeing as that every other coffee shop in houston does, but other than that it's a great place to meet and grab a quick cup of brew.

best coffee in houston. so, the coffee is good, but so is the service. and i love their pastries. not many places havegoodscones, but this is one that does them very well! the ambiance is laid-back. the one downside is that it can be tough to find seating at certain times of the day. my favorite coffee is the stout americano. it's like european coffee, and it's done right!

a bad day maybe?. 12/23/11 - i was a bit let down with the shots i had after reading all thegoodreviews. they were a bit stale and flavorless. i'll just chalk it up to a bad day and try again next week. on a positive note: nice atmosphere, nice people.

catalina coffee is one of those rare coffee houses, that hasgoodservice and great coffee. they know what they are doing. i cannot wait until my next visit.

first visit...reallygooddecaf cappuccino ...right mix of milk and espresso (hard to find). will return.

mmm... coffee. defnitely a coffee shop favorite. delicious coffee for a great price. they also sell whole bean coffee. the pastries are verygoodand fresh but they go fast early in the day. the guys working there are alwaysgoodto talk to. comfortable place for pitching up a laptop or reading a book. lots of natural light. there's always agoodplaylist going.
