let's see, where to start... walked in and was greeted by friendly staff. we sat at the bar and ordered a few beers. bartender was super knowledgeable and helpful. we ordered the oysters on the half and escargot. both new to me. the oysters wereprettygood, but the escargot was amazing. our meal continued with the po boy for the hubby and pasta with shrimp scampi for me. i took a bite of the po boy, but it wasn't my thing. the shrimp wasprettygood considering we're in a land locked state. dessert was two different cheesecakes and both were stellar. what stood out above everything else was the vibe. laid back, friendly, cozy, unpretentious... perfect. sorry my pics are dark, but like i said, we were at the bar.
