horrible steaks and service. i had a client coming in for a dinner meeting, i recommended carvers " one of the best steaks in dayton" we arrived the dinning room was all but empty put us at a small table when there were many that would be more comfortable.
the waiter was on the spot with our drinks and water, offered no bread, again the dinning room was empty, he disappeared, 20 min later we got his attention, ordered appetizers and our steaks and sides, appetizers came out in 10 min, asked again for drinks, our meals arrived.
scalloped potatoes were stone cold.... my filet was in two pieces, with a burnt end and a undesirable crust, terrible! asparagus was also cold., my guest ny strip steak was fatty and did not have a great appearance. my guest said: "worst steak he has ever had period"
my other guest also complained about the quality of the filet.
do not know if we will ever be back.

whoo, don't go early and sit by any of the wait staff what a display of unprofessional behavior nothing but bad noise and there gossip they should be fired.

carvers. what i really like about this place is just not the food and the great service, but i can walk in and get seated, the bar is friendly and serves great martini's with stuffed olives with blue cheese.
