carlos' country kitchen

when you’re visiting napa or sonoma and going by santa rosa, stop here for agooddiner experience and have country breakfast. it’s definitely worth stopping for breakfast.

we always leave happy!. we eat breakfast there at least once a month. it's often entertaining to watch them. there's a tiny grill in their
10x4 kitchen and 3 guys(including carlos) pumping out generous portions ofgoodold fashioned breakfast. the parking lot is always full on the weekends- that is my only complaint- no parking. but they work hard to get everyone fed. it's a little place and sometimes it gets a little loud. it's fast and tight and there's no hiding anything. the cooks are right in front of you and the girls on the floor seem familiar and friendly with most of the guests. we've met several really nice, decent, friendly people there. we love it. if you want a quiet little leisurely brunch then you might not be happy. if your wake up hungry and don't mind a crowd, it's the bomb.

loved it. what you see is what you get. it is a little truck stop ,next door to a gas station. the building has been there about as long as santa rosa itself. if you're looking for the hilton then you probably should go to the hilton. if you're hungry and you crave agoodhearty breakfast at an affordable price, then look no further. our waitress, elaine was really great!. fast, friendly and welcoming.. they seem to enjoy what they're doing. (carlos was cooking and greeting everyone who walked in- most by name) the place was hopping at 6am. a lot of laughter and a lot of food!! i had the country sausage and jill had an omelette with veggies and bacon in it. both were fantastic. the orange juice was fresh squeezed and came in a 12 ounce glass. the food was good- the service was great , the price was right and i doubt they ever have anyone leave hungry. we plan on going back this weekend and bring some friends.i can't wait!

best breakfast..... this is a little place i like to call my heaven of food. they have a reallygoodturkey sandwich,goodburgers, and great costumer service. everyone there is really nice and sends off agoodvib. if i could i would eat every meal there.
