if this is the food quality and taste, canton royale should rather shutdown...you need to get your act together big time.
with today's experience, thisrestaurantis hopelessly bad and the food here... quality and taste wise both, is absolutely inconsumable...not fit even if offered free..
you completely destroyed our dinner experience.... what a shame !!

there was no salan with biryani if unavailable then raita is expected but there was achar (pickle) in packing. cutlery was unticked but not found. don't know who's fault was this,restaurantor valet.

i tasted the food and i gave 5 star rating . within 4 days i was diagnosed with typhoid fever and even after sending the test reports ,zomato denied to refund and even therestaurantdenied to compensate!!! never ordering from zomato !!!! no humanity !!

if any foodie want to spoil mood,order murg rara from this restaurant.it was no close to mutton dishesh thisrestaurantprovides.when i open the box of murg rara smell of chicken first hit me it was like boiled chicken served in some kind of tasteless gravy.chicken was super dry.and its odour made me quit the dish.even street dog dint tasted the leftover.

thisrestaurantis best in delivering mutton dish ,tender, tasty, no under cooked no over cooked,nor chewy like other restaurants.packaging 11 out of 10 for the first time got pickles with the dish thanx for it.and thanx for the mutton nalli also which i got thia time.😁.mutton rogan josh is the best from thisrestaurantand this dish laal mass is my second fav now.

looking for a fine dinerestaurantwith beautiful ambience? then surya kaiser palace is the right place for you. located in one of the chic areas of the city, this place is a beautiful blend of serenity and eminence.

talking about the ambience, it was really mesmerizing. the place has an outstanding infrastructure. as the name suggests, it feels like a royal palace. the decor is so beautiful and intricate. also, the place has an abundance of greenery which is very soothing to the eyes. the vibe here is so calm and comforting. 😍

we tried the four course meal here and here's a detailed review.

murgh elaichi ka shorba - it was an amazing chicken soup with the appropriate infusion of cardamom. the consistency was good with floating bits of cooked chicken with a perfect blend of flavours.

cream of broccoli - this soup was more on the sweeter taste palate. the soup was so creamy with the authentic taste of fresh broccolis. highly recommended.❤️

smoked chicken salad - this was my personal favourite. the salad was so wholesome with delicious smoked shredded chicken , veggies and lettuce. highly recommended. ❤️

creamy cucumber salad - this was nice but was not really meant for the indian tastebud. it was very creamy and fresh though.

cajun spice chicken tikka - another one from my favourites' list is this rustic chicken tikka. the chicken pieces were very tender and flavourful. highly recommended. ❤️

nutmeg malai broccoli - making it to my favourites' list again is this creamy fresh brocoli dish. it was perfectly cooked and the flavour of nutmeg was outstanding. the broccolis would just melt in your mouth. highly recommended. ❤️

cheese spinach quesadilla - this delicacy has my heart. the quesadillas were pleasantly stuffed and cooked. the stuffing was so delicious. the combination of cheese and spinach was enthralling.

kori gassi - this is the show stopper in the main course menu. the curry was lip smacking and the chicken pieces were so tender and flavourful. highly recommended. ❤️

canton special kofta - for the vegetarians, this has to be the best pick. the gravy was pleasantly sweet and the koftas would just melt in your mouth. they served the paneer stuffed koftas which was awesome. highly recommended. ❤️

paneer hyderabadi - it was an andhra style delicacy with a strong flavour of mustard and curry leaves.

tomato rice - it is a treat to your eyes as well as your tastebuds. it was very flavourful.

👉 dates pancake - these were like a cherry on the top. the dates filled pancakes were crispy and very well complemented with sesame seeds and honey. highly recommended. ❤️

above all, the presentation and the serving portions for all the dishes were upto the mark. 😊

all in all, we had an amazing time here. from the ambience to the food, from friendly staff service to top notch hospitality, this place is a mood. ❤️ do visit here soon. 😊

we went to thisrestaurantafter reading zomato reviews but our experience turned out to be a nightmare. it took an hour for them to find us an empty table while we waited in a hall without any air conditioning. the service was snail paced and we had to remind waiters to clean our table and bring glasses.

this is a luxuryrestaurantwith heart popping dishes.... there ambience and hospitality is great... taste is also awesome.... variety of indian foods

one in a kind place in varanasi. thisrestaurantis actually in a real palace, and serves great indian food. perfect to visit with your friends and family. service is good and the ambience itself is never experienced before. very busy with the locals on the weekend so weekdays are ideal to visit. hands down, we had a great experience.

ambience is really nice, during our stay at hotel surya we went to thisrestaurantin the hotel premises. food was really nice, service do have a place for improvement but overall experience was nice.

if you don't want to have road side food of varanasi and want to have something filling then this is the place you must try...

we went on a dinner few days back.

first of all, they lack hospitality. their staff doesn't know how to welcome the guests, how to greet. they don't even know how to take orders, explain dishes and post serving follow up. they don't even serve you; they just get the food and drop on your table; after that you have to look after yourself. staff is messily dressed up and they keep running in therestaurantlike confused souls. we had to request for giving dining cloth while having soup as they had forgotten to put it on table. there seems to be a disconnect between management,restaurantstaff and chefs.

nevertheless, all these can still be ignored if food is good.

we had ordered italian garbanzo bean soup which completely lacked taste and spice. we had to return it for re-cooking for making it eatable. without taking more chance, we ordered paneer shashlik sizzler which was very very average in taste. better sizzlers can be cooked at home. it just had rice, piece of paneer in red gravy, some diced onions and capsicum. extremely average dish. poor.

nothing great about ambience as well, in my opinion. when you go to such a place thinking of its heritage history, you expect a lot in terms of both service and quality of food.

not recommended at all.
