since pubs are very few in numbers in guwahati, this place receives the highest crowd. everything is good enough except for the part that the place is a little congested. however, something is better than nothing. hence, a good enough place to catch up with friends over a few drinks. live band shows are a treat. food and music is fine. won't disappoint if you are looking for gulping down a few beers with some starters.

very few pubs in guwahati compared to metros, but this place simply rocks and will not disappoint you. hendrix gives you a complete feel of american pubs with good and loud music. the hanging pictures, the groovy interiors and quite a lot of accessories kept all over to give a feel good factor. finally, coming to food- serves drinks and some quality non veg stuffs. i don't remember the exact name of the pork dish we had, but it was tasty. rates cant be coined as high in comparison to the ambiance they offer. heavily crowded on weekends and good place to hangout with friends. i will give it a **** !!!!!

this is one of my favourite places to hang out. just want to have drinks with friends you meet often? this is the place to be. they play loud music in the top floors so having a conversation is just out of question. they ground floor is usually quiet but the cigarette smoke wafting in from the top floors can be a bother. not the ideal place to go if you don't want to smoke (or be a passive smoker) and can't stand loud music. they have become quiet strict regarding their policy of serving alcohol, so if you're under 21 or look it, be ready to show age proof. the food is average.

when i was in college this was a place where we frequently hung out. initially the place had only one floor and the crowd was pretty decent with people who really admired the music in there. the music was good and there were happy hours which we enjoyed fully. but the hype got bigger and so did the crowd and now it has a fair share of visitors who just go for the sake of the glamour and fame attached to it. they complain if the music is loud. i am surprised with what expectations they come? anyway the service has never been below my expectations. the food was decent. it's been a long time since i went to that place but i will whenever i get a chance.

very unprofessional staff... poor service..they don't know how talk with the guest..spoke to someone(manager as per him) but ridiculous behavior..very upset..will never visit again...i like to say one think to the owner of this place...save your cafe..or else..u wil loose all the guest...and plz plz change the staff and keep good and educated employee.... need some good trained staff...

if you are looking to spend a perfect evening with your friends, cafe hendrix is definitely the place to be, where you can spend time, catching up over a chilled beer. the perfect ambience, lighting and the jimi hendrix music enhances the experience further.

cafe hendrix spans over two floors, the first floor is preferred by the crowd and will be usually swamped. several frames with pictures of hendrix adorn the walls.

their menu offers a good spread of continental, indian and chinese along with a wide range of alcoholic beverages to choose from. pork chilly and dragon prawns is a must try.
the service i would say is fairly decent given the place is always buzzing with people.

overall, good food, good ambience and a place which is totally worth a visit!
