cafe evergreen

pros- theplaceoffers a great view to sit by and sip your tea or coffee. their penne alla vodka is worth trying in my opinion. you can work from there as well with your laptop.
cons- i found services to be bit slow and prices of food was higher.

loved the israeli food here. must visitplacein kasol. mild israeli music with delicious food makes everything so delighting that one would love to visit theplaceagain n again.

the best food, hands down. they had the best cookies i've ever had in my life, and i brought them home as well. would definitely recommend theplacefor it's food, and you have to try their bakery as well.

the only good thing about thisplaceis nice seating and the bakery. the rest.. food overpriced and not worth it. it's either too salty or oily or full of corn starch. for the staff i have one word omg. first there is exceptionally show service from serving food to taking orders and even getting food packed or giving you the bill. not just that, when asked why is it taking more then 30 minutes to just get the bill. they had an attitude problem, this guy with moustache, apparently a nepali guy almost charged towards me, saying that we are not free to get your bill. it takes time. i was stunned with the poor behaviour. i thought of reporting him for this but i think reviews is a better option. beware and my suggestion please don't waste your time and money. there are better places to go in manali.

visited thisplacewhen i was on my way back home and i wanted to try some delicacies before i leave. it was raining and the sitting area has no shed and for that reason it was shut. i tried the pineapple pastry and it was "okay", it felt like it wasn't make on the same day.

with a view of the river, theplaceoffers pretty good seating. would recommend the thukpa and noodles, they were quite good. however, the tandoori trout was a bit bland and didn't seem to have been marinated enough.

looks like a very niceplacefor chilling and hangout.
much friendly place.
but finding a vacantplaceis sometimes difficult.

this is a must visit cafe in kasol. the views thisplaceoffers are so good. the interiors are great as well though a service is bit slow but the food is amazing. lasagna is a must try , it's so cheesy and loaded with veggies. there hot chocolate is not good at all. there owner is really very friendly and amiable. theplaceis cozy and warm.

have visited thisplacewith my family when we were on a himachal pradesh tour. we made a halt here and had our lunch.
we ordered
mushroom fried rice (5/5)
paneer masala (5/5)
barbeque chicken with fries and hummus (5/5)
tasted accordingly. the food was great both in quality and quantity. the thing astonished me most was the decor and the sitting arrangement. the ambience was great as well with the young crowd and the families as well.

a decentplacein manali. i liked the english breakfast and coffee. good pizzas. burgers need improvement but overall a goodplaceto hang out.

this is my favorite spot in old manali. lovely and comfyplacenext to the river with a beautiful view. they have delicious cakes, kinda different from what you see in the others bakery and good breakfast choice. i also tried momos, it was good. only the way to the toilet is very epic...

i’ve been here recently theplaceis very cute and has amazing ambiance with crazy riverside view the breads and other stuff is freshly baked.

this smallplaceoverlooks the river and has a garden sitting area. the cakes and breads are fresh baked and are delicious. the service is way better than rest of the cafes on same line.

thisplacehas a great view of the river and a good selection of pies and cakes. perfect to enjoy your manali evening with good food and great views.

the more i talk about kasol, the more i want to go back to this place. its ever so serene and scenic landscape, the vibe and the people around can never get out of our head! but this review is not for kasol(maybe someday later) but a cafe situated in the heart of the hills - the evergreen cafe.

food - we ordered veg falafal roll, french fries(complimentary), veg pizza and omelette(we were really craving for one). i would not say the pizza, french fries and the omelette were the best(we have had some amazing pizzas and omelettes in the past and ofcourse we recently tried burger singh's french fries and are in awe!), however(extra emphasis), the falafal roll is something to talk about. first, it was huge. second, it reminded us of the falafal rolls we had in tripoli(oh in case we did not mention, we were born and brought up in tripoli, libya :)). we can definitely give the food here a noble 3/5.

ambience : this is the star of the cafe. the ambience is unparalleled. the hills surrounding the cafe blanket it from the hustle bustle of the city and the people in here gave it an extra vibe, an extra sparkle. the cafe kept shining like a north start amongst the ocean of cafes around it during the night sky(simile). we wouldn't mind giving a rating of 5/5 for ambience. paise isi ke hain bhai!

service : once again, we can't complain for a delayed service when theplaceis jampacked. a decent 3/5 from our end
