recently i dined at café délices @cafedilices which is tucked away in the lobby of the @gulfhotelbusinessbay and has great views of the canal right alongside it.

interestingly café délices serves turkish and bahraini cuisines which is quite a unique proposition to start with. i can safely say the restaurant does justice to both cuisines

for starters, i tried the hydari (dh 20) which is hung yoghurt butter mixed with turkish chilli flakes. it had a tangy and spicy taste which went well with plain arabic bread. their bahraini kebab (dh 25) was basically indian bhajiya's (fritters) with a slightly different spice mix. it was not bad as it was crispy and made fresh. i enjoyed the tossed liver with turkish spices in the arnavut cigeri (dh 30). great meaty flavours if you're into that.

in the mains, i had zaatar manakeesh (dh 38) which was quite tasty but also like many others i've had. their kashkawal pide (dh 42) with a mix of aged and regular cheese was good. it was soft and oozing with melted cheese in the centre. the bahraini tikka was different to most tikkas i have had before. it was lamb cubes marinated in tangy black lemon served with freshly baked tanoor bread (dh 50).

i couldn't resist trying their kunafa with vanilla ice cream (dh 30) which is such a great combo of hot and cold. it was good and didn't disappoint in the taste department. i also tried the umm ali (dh 25) which was served in a clay pot with lots of pistachios and tasted quite good as well.

the restaurant manager mr nil was very hospitable. the ambience is highly ok but the food is good and in the winters sitting outdoors at this venue will be quite a treat.

had gone for iftar and oh boy it had to be one of the besr iftars to date. truth be told almost all iftars have dined so far had always been indoors. this is the only restaurant cafedelicesthat had an outdoir concept. seating all outside with the business bay views got better and better. the street views, canal views and good food now that's a real deal. most relaxed with all the scrumptious dishes and cuisines from bahrain and turlish inclusive of emarati. very impressed by the wide variety of desserts and salads keeping with the authentic taste and palate. umm ali is highly recommended. the mains lamb ouzi was delicious but was in splendid surprise of the thai mussel curry dripping with delicacies. biryani was really yum inclusive of the koosa on a creamilicious note. the shawarma station was selling out fast. even the soups were on point with flavors and seasoning. after all this end with chai. this is life 🌷🌷

café délices offers delicious and mouthwatering turkish and bahraini cuisine with a beautiful view of the dubai canal. the place is ideal for enjoying dine outs during winter season. they have decent and spacious outdoor seating arrangement.

i enjoyed hummus, hydari, gavurdagi salatasi for starters, mix grill & pizza della citta for main dishes. the mix grill comprised of tawuk, adana kebab, bahraini tikka, riyash ghanam, robian – tikka won my heart, it was juicy and flavourful. pizza was average in taste.

i also tried their dessert: umm ali, baklava & mohallabia (rice pudding) no doubt dessert platter was a treat. to end the night, i had their karak matka bahraini chai to enjoy the chilling weather.

their staff were very kind and throughout on their toes. i had an excellent time at café delices, do try out this place for some amazing bahraini tikka & peaceful beautiful view.

cafedeliceslocated at gulf court hotel is an all day dining cafe overlooking the dubai canal. the area is quite spacious with indoor and outdoor seating perfect for the upcoming weather. they will also be serving shisha from september 15th.

the staffs were friendly as well.

we started off with a blue berry mojito, orange juice and green canal.

we had a set menu ready for the bloggers meet up and was very satisfied with what they served.

from salads we had roasted beer & feta affair and blackened prawns salad with citrus vinaigrette. i loved the presentation and how the dressing was served in a spraying bottle. the ingredients used were very fresh which add on to the taste.

from sandwich platter we had smoked salmon surprise in black ink croissant

pesto caprese hoagie and classic chicken caesar salad wrap.

chicken caesar wrap was my favorite among all.

moving on, we tried the truffle scented alfredo pasta with wild mushrooms and cream parmesan cheese.

it was cooked perfectly and was rich in flavors.

finally we had the desserts and new york cheesecake was the best of all.

black forest in a jar was not bad at all.

berry n nut parfait was equally good too.

verdict- the venue is perfect for a friendly gathering and definitely looking forward to go during winter.

cafedelicesis one of the six restaurants located inside the gulf court hotel at business bay. its an all day dining café with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. the view to the dubai water canal, abraj street is its attraction and one to be noted during the winters. their interiors are quite vibrant, writings on the glass on their different types of coffee, soft seatings that can hold upto 80 together, spacious right.

got invited to try out a preset menu for brunch at cafedelicesand i absolutely loved the food!

ambience: they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. a good place to just chill and chat with friends/family. loved the vibe and they had comfortable seats as well.
staff: everyone was very friendly and welcoming. i met with chef picco and he so professional and attentive to out needs as well. he came over and explained the dishes and also made an extra veg sandwich for me🥰
food: i loved the food here! the presentation of all the dishes was so well thought and instagram worthy. i loved it♥️
salads: roasted beet & feta affair was presented with a red wine vinaigrette dressing in a small spray bottle. you can spritz as per your liking. the other salad was blackened prawn salad with lemon dressing. i loved the beet salad, it had a hint of crunchy-ness because of the caramelized walnuts♥️
sandwiches: the salmon surprise in a squid ink croissant🦑! then there was a chicken ceasar roll and the two veg options were pesto caprese and a veg sandwich. i really loved the pesto caprese, it had the perfect balance of pesto😍
pasta: penne alfredo with truffle 😋 definitely worth a try if you like truffle! or if you haven't had truffle before, this is a good way to ease in the taste.
finally my favorite part, dessert! there was the new york cheese cake which was just heavenly 😍 the pistachio cake was delicious! i usually don't have much of pistachio but i really liked this one. it was so soft and had crunchy pieces of pistachio in it. the black forest cake was just amazing. the chef added a little twist to the traditional cake by serving it in a jar as a deconstructed form. there were pieces of cake, cherries, chocolate, and chocolate mousse🍫
i definitely recommend coming here at least once. it's a lovely cafe with view of the canal🚤

dada and i went to this cafe and enjoyed some of the best salads with a unique manner of dressing, sandwiches, and truffle sauce pasta.

an eatery serving you 24 x 7 in business bay, cafedelicesis located in gulf court hotel. the cafe is spacious, with tables and chairs neatly set out, and can accommodate a good number of audience. i was there for a tasting session for a bloggers event, as a plus one.

for the food, we were served roasted beet and feta affair, blackened prawn salad, penne pasta in truffle sauce with mushrooms, chicken caesar roll, salmon surprise, pesto caprese hoagie, new york cheesecake, black forest, and a cake with pistachio and berries (sorry i forgot the name).

i tried out the roasted beet and feta affair salad. both the prawn and beet salads were presented with dressing (red wine vinaigrette and lemon dressing) in adorable spray bottles (so that you can add the dressing as per your requirement), which were unique and delightful. i paired the beet and feta salad with lemon dressing. the salad was delicious with fresh vegetables and rich feta cheese.

the penne pasta in truffle sauce with mushrooms was tasty. the sauce was flavourful, mushrooms were soft, however, we felt that the pasta was a bit under cooked. the chef mentioned that this depends on preference, and the pasta can be well - cooked upon request.

for the sandwiches, i tried out the chicken caesar roll and pesto caprese hoagie. the former featured soft pieces of chicken and fresh bread, however, coming to the flavours, it was a little on the bland side. i feel they could have added a bit more of sauce. the pesto caprese hoagie, on the other hand, was excellent. the baguette was fresh and soft, the addition of fresh mozzarella cheese was yummy, and the pesto sauce complemented the sandwich very well, with its appetizing flavours.

the new york cheesecake and the cake with pistachio and berries were soft and rich in terms of texture. the former had a tangy flavour, and the latter featured a lush flavour of pistachios. the black forest was presented in a tiny jar, and had a blend of dark chocolate and berry flavours.

for the drinks, i tried out the tribeni which was a mix of pineapple, kiwi, strawberry and cranberry juice. this drink was served chilled, and was flavourful and refreshing.

thank you cafedelicesteam for having us. gulf court hotel features a beautiful pool area, gymnasium, gorgeous rooms and suites, other restaurants such as the canal lounge (with outstanding views of the dubai canal) and sports on 4.
