cheese garlic bread with lemon tea - typical bread torched up with cheese, good!!

cottage cheese burger - gooey burger served with chips and salad on the side; crunchy, a bit sweet but pretty heavy on the whole

hot chocolate cake - lava cake filled around with hot chocolate; so sweet, smooth and rich in chocolate

nutella croissant - layered puff with flakes of buttery croissant filled with nutella; loved it owing to its texture and creaminess

caramel milkshake - wow, thick shake filled with freaking caramel sauce and milk; personally loved the consistency of the drink

tiramisu/hazelnut/ny/redvelvetcheesecake:
ny cheesecake is the best, hands down, damn creamy and this has the right crunch to make it as an integral part of any cheesecake

redvelvetwas good but every time i feel that the texture of the same could be better

hazelnuts and tiramisu were so damn sweet, had a tad dark flavour and taste,ok!!

ambience/price:
great spot to hang out since they have got ample seating space and good parking space along the main road.
the service was not a concern since the ambience was calm and relaxing. price-wise, this place is okay for any cafe.

the food from here has been a real saviour during this lockdown. enjoyed the food a lot. we have been ordering on a daily basis. the chicken tikka pizza and paneer tikka pizzas is really good. love their chicken wings as well. they have really good pastries. have been ordering their redvelvetcake at least twice a week. cakebee has been a real stress-buster during this lockdown with their awesome food.

looks can deceiving! can't beleive i paid 200 bucks for this.
it said redvelvetchesse cake, i happened to not taste cheese at all. some regular fresh cream cake. disappointed!

cafe cake bee is a beautiful place and the ambience felt so vintage! we ordered quite a lot from the menu. the pesto pasta tasted great, the paneer shashlik was okayish, my friends told me that the chicken was really hard and the sandwich was fine. we ordered a redvelvetcheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. the tiramisu tasted like cheesecake and the redvelvetcheesecake tasted like frosting and we got all confused.

final verdict, great ambience, but the menu really needs some changes.

the whole set up of this place is well done. a nice hangout spot which was much needed in trichy. the prices too dont cause a hole in the pocket and are affordable. my go to place for continental food in trichy. must try their veg lasagna, veg au gratin, oreo shake, redvelvetshake (5*), cafe latte. the breakfast

my favorite hangout spot with friends. the food is so appetizing and tasty. the place looks fancy with green and brown coloured walls. food is brilliant. potato jalapeno fritters, cheese garlic bread, mac and 3 cheese and the 7 layer chocolate cake are a must try here. the redvelvetcheesecake is totally worth it. it's so rich and mouth watering. pizzas here have thin crust and are delicious too.

this place is first of its kind in trichy . well done interiors with good food at affordable prices.
the chicken lasagna was made very well and on point.
basically a fan of thin crust pizzas and the pizzas are good.
i love their pastries from the beginning so their chocolate cake and stuff didn’t disappoint me.
their cheese cake and redvelvetneeds to be improvised.
their pastas are awesome and their mac and three cheese tasted absolutely good.
the cheese garlic bread was good too. their sandwiches are classy.
thai food needs to be improvised.

visited cakebee twice. this is a detailed review of the second visit. (the first visit was when zomato was yet to arrive in trichy)
being my birthday, i decided to take my friends for dinner to cakebee, thanks to a prior experience. the place is proximally located near the central bus stand, a little away from sona mina theatre. our order was as follows:
appetizers: cajun potato fries, cheesy garlic bread. both were great.
main course: veg lasagna, chicken lasagna, mac and 3 cheese, veg burger, grilled chicken sandwich, roasted garlic chicken mac and 3 cheese.
have always loved the lasagna here. the burger and the macaroni were good too.
dessert: seven layer chocolate cake. the denseness and bitterness had toned down when compared to the previous visit. plus during the previous visit, the plating was way better, with while chocolate and biscuit crumbles to accompany.

service was incredible, with very friendly staff and food was served on time.

overall, a good place to have pastas and pizzas.

p.s. tried the redvelvetcheesecake during the previous visit. it was great too.

edit: their new york style cheesecake is lip smacking. thai green curry could have been more green and better.
