buzzy's new york style pizza

great pizza and wings!. my family loves to stop at buzzy's for dinner after crossing the border to do some shopping. we get a tray of pizza and wings every time, and haven't been disappointed! we have yet to find a local place that compares.

i just had the jalapeños poppers and the mozzarella sticks as i was in a hurry so i just took them with me,it was deep golden fried with nice amount of crunch and melted cheese inside which i love always!!!

this is absolutely our favorite pizza and wings place anywhere. the pizza is thin crust, with a delicious tomato sauce. the wings are typical buffalo wings and are meaty and cooked to perfection. buttery garlic is her favorite, mine is a combination of buttery garlic and medium which adds a very slight kick of (probably something like) frank's red hot. our pizza of choice is simple pepperoni.


update (may 2017): we haven't been in the area in a while and decided on a return to buzzy's. the pizza was good (though sadly not as great as we had gotten used to) and the wings had barely any sauce on them. service was good but we left somewhat disappointed.

our server was great, but this was honestly the worst pizza that i've ever had.  the crust was like cardboard, and was obviously not freshly prepared.  when our server asked us if everything was ok, we told her no, that the pizza was horrible.   we were not approached by a manager or supervisor, so we concluded that they really didn't care that we didn't enjoy our food.  definitely our first and last visit to this place.

we stopped tonight because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed! they were packed but many were pick up orders so we were seated quickly. the atmosphere was pleasant and clean.

our waitress was sarah she was extremely busy but still very attentive and always smiling. we ordered the sweet chili wings (10) and a large pizza. (8) only 2 of us so the small pizza would have been sufficient. we received the wings after 15 minutes and the pizza 30 minutes..not bad for a friday night and well worth it! total bill $25

the wings are the best we've ever had. a perfect mix of sweet and heat. the pizza was good and as any traditional pizza tomato sauce basil and oregano i think the negative reviews are from those who do not know what a traditional pizza is. when in the area we will definitely go back!

awful food and even worse service. i went to buzzy's for the first time today and saying i was disappointed would be an understatement. i ordered a calzone and my girlfriend ordered a pizza. her pizza was greasy and she had to dab napkins on it to remove it. i ordered one of their specialty calzones and it was awful. the waitress that was serving us did not greet us, introduce herself, ask for refills, or even bother to ask if we were enjoying our food (which i was not). the waitress came up to our table, stood there for a moment, and said “are you ready” she’s a fine demonstration of how not to make a first impression. her service was worse than my calzone. after waiting a long period of time the waitress finally came back and i expressed to her my disappointment about the food. she did not apologize or offer an alternative lunch option. i then approached the manager (mark) and he was so disrespectful to me. mark refused to offer me any compensation for my complaint and went on to say "we make thousands of calzones every day and never receive any complaints. we use the best meat on the market. maybe your taste buds were off." mark handled the situation in an unprofessional manner. keeping $10 must mean a lot to a company that apparently makes thousands of calzones. let’s just say buzzy's has lost a customer and i would never recommend anyone to this pitiful restaurant.

disappointed minuscule wings compared to before they used to be great i think they turned into tourist cash grab quality is gone. will think twice before ordering wings again.

great service, good food.... buzzy's was recommended by a co-worker. there are quite a few reviews on urbanspoon complaining about service, so here's a log of my first visit (i live in buffalo). i'm writing this in real time and will edit later:
6:37 i walk in restaurant, only 1 empty table in dining room.
6:40 seated by hostess.
6:44 waitress named mallory takes my order of diet coke, small salad, 10 wings extra crispy, medium sauce.
6:46 drink arrives.
6:48 salad arrives - no surprises - typical large side salad with fresh, crisp iceberg lettuce and bland hothouse tomatoes, decent blue cheese dressing, crunchy croutons, a few black olives.
7:06 wings arrive. they are crispy, as ordered. celery and carrots cost extra at 75 cents (boooooo!) but i get 8 large pieces of each veggie. wings are medium sized, mild-to-medium in heat, and taste fresh. wings have a thin sauce with a moderate butter flavor (akin to anchor bar).
7:25 waitress returns. she asks how things are. she is quite pleasant. takes empty plates away.
7:27 check arrives, waitress takes money.
7:31 change arrives.
on a scale of 0 to 10, service is a 9; maybe i lucked-out with mallory, but all i see when i look around the dining room are smiling faces. this place, due to its location, is the un of restaurants. lot's of shoppers from the north, out-of-towners staying in nearby hotels, foreign tourists, etc.
on a scale of 0 to 10 (a 2 being the current crap that anchor bar serves, a 9 being elmo's or buffalo tap room) wings were a solid 7 (despite not being a fan of thin, buttery sauce).
this is a pleasant experience; i over-tip mallory ($4.50 on a $17.50 check)...she is a pro and worth every penny. i will definitely visit buzzy's again if i am out this way, but i'm not likely to make a special trip..

buzzy’s pizza in niagara falls came recommended by quite a few people, so i was eager to check it out. the place is nice, parking, sit down and eat or take out, patio seating for another time (entirely). the pizza wasn’t exactly what i was expecting. the crust isn’t as thin as it could be, since it is considered ny style. i found it to be a bit to firm & chewy on the bottom of the pie. they go soft on the sauce, heavy on the cheese – which was very unique. after tasting the creamy flavor and texture, i looked into the kind they use – 0 whole milk mozzarella. the cheese was definitely the star of the show. in the photo you can see spices sprinkled on the top of the pizza but i honestly didn’t register any of that while tasting it. the pepperoni doesn’t add much to the flavor either. it’s all about the cheese here. if you’re interested in trying a

thank you:). my friend and i went on a day trip to buffalo last friday and decided to try buzzy's. after all it was very close to the factory outlet and i really like their wings. i ordered the char pit bbq wings and my friend ordered the medium hot wings. we decided to share the wings and once again they did not disappoint. my friend and i both decided to order calzones, my buddy devoured his but unfortunately i didn't enjoy mine. i found there was too much bread and the sauce didn't do it for me.

as we were leaving the restaurant, one of the workers chased us down asking if one of us had left an envelope full of money at our table. amazed and embarrassed, i said it was me. i was shocked at her honest behaviour as the envelope contained more than 400 dollars us in it. i tried to go back and ask her if she would take at least $20 from me for her honesty but she refused. i wish i knew her name because i would recommend that the owners give her a raise or at least acknowledge her for what she did.

i wanted to thank you once again, who ever you were for doing the right thing. you deserve great karma for your good deed:)

great wings, not so good meatball sub.. while i am going to say i recommend this place, i will say that the meatball sub was absolutely horrible, stay away. the wings on the other hand were great, large and meaty and the hot sauce was great without being over sauced. i will definitely return and try the wings and maybe some other items on the menu, just do yourself a favour and stay away from the meatball sub;)

best place! go here!. went here yesterday for the first time. woah! ate in at the resturant. and even though there is take out, it still feels like a sit down place. they have beer and wine. waitress was super nice and helpful! made our own pizza and it was delicious! not too much sauce and good amount of toppings! asked for parm and crushed pepper too. also had the chicken fingers. single order which they happily made half bbq half medium. got the fried tacos as well. very good! i don't know if they were homemade but they tasted good! i love tacos so maybe i am biased. will be going back soon!!!

not cooked. 1.poor service always on the phone and register.
2.have ordered from buzzys in the past the only thing they do right is fryer food.
3.have had several calzones and pizza from there that was doughy or uncooked.
4.figured they could handle chicken wings here but i gave them too much credit.med was so buttery it was gross and the honey-garlic ones were meh tasting probably because i came across a few that weren't cooked all the way they smelled like uncooked chicken and were fleshy.

this place is awful.. nice atmosphere, too bad the service is terrible. went there for lunch and server was miserable, inattentive and just plain old useless. pizza sucked. had no sauce on it. i would have rather had tonys frozen pizza. never again.

owner is a total jerk. left my italian sunglasses there after spending over $70 bucks is a $15 tip. went back and the owner was playing games and kept insisting since my glasses were expensive, and since they held them, i should somehow give him a reward payment. screw him, and he treats his female wait staff like garbage, as he was absolutely screaming at them simply because they waited on the wrong person in line. a good boss doesn't demean and belittle his staff, and especially in front of customers. avoid this jerk's establishment like the plague, and the pizza is often burned.
