burger land

wow~!!! this place is delic.... wow~!!!
this place is delicious, it knows how to make a burger that people want. had the mushroom cheeseburger, it was packed with burger goodness; big and juicy, fries were also great. me and my friends had wings to go with our burger; they're really good and flavorful. nice and friendly environment.
(telling by the picture, the place has vamped up a bit, guessing there is a new owner, so all new place and menu, but still great.)

not what it used to be!!!!!!!!!!!!. this place used to be awesome, but when i went in there yesterday it was another story. i ordered a cheeseburger combo, it came to 9.50. i accepted it because the size of the burgers used to be huge with lots of fries. what i got was a regular sized hamburger with hot and hard fries. don't let me get on the size of the cup. i felt ripped off!! when i asked for a refund she told me that the company quit making the big sized buns. so why are you selling them at a big sized priced? i asked. the asian lady argued with me about the refund..i couldn't believe it. won't be going back...guess i will be trying burger island.

i just discovered this place a few weeks ago. i had the cheeseburger which was great!! the next visit i tried the guacamole burger. i was disappointed that the "guacamole" was actually plain mashed avocado. i'll be sticking with the cheeseburger next time. oh....and they deliver!!!

terrible environment. dirty interior and the tv was blaring spanish music. the burgers were mediocre but the dirty environment and annoying music and rude staff just made us want to get out of there asap.

local gem. burger land was a find for me as it is nestled on the intersection of shiloh and kingsley in garland. i happen to work about a mile or 2 from this establishment and stopped by for an after work burger and was surprised by how good it was. i have had both the "the big land" and "the tornado" burger and each was equally delicious. "the big land" burger is a whopping 1/2 pound burger that icludes sauteed onions, mushrooms, jalepenos, american and provolone cheese, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. "the tornado burger" is almost the same except it has bacon, sauteed bell peppers and bbq sauce. if you are really hungry they also serve 1 pound burgers. the meat is tasty and has a hint of delicious smokie flavor to it.
one of the major cons to this place is that the atmosphere is kind of lack luster. as one of my co-workers put it, "it's not a place where you would bring a date." but if all you are looking for is a good burger then you can find it here.

bacon cheese burger. this is the biggest burger that i have ever seen in my life and it didn't cost an arm and a leg...this has got to be the best burger that i have tried in my life...

almost forgot... those "small" burgers are a hearty 1/2 pound! while the double weighs in at a full pound.

this is one of my regular lunch-time places. the small burgers are 100% pure angus beef. you can barely eat it all. and trust me, i can eat. my fav is the mushroom burger at $4.95. the large hand-cut fries will feed two at a buck-95. not much personality from the staff and the decor leaves a bit to be desired but hey... it's food and cheap. if you only have 30 minutes for lunch, you might want to call in your order ahead if time. they cook everything to order.
