pretty good.niceto call up, order and take-away. their timing is pretty accurate and their burgers are tasty and use fresh ingredients. they are a little on the pricey side though.

great food, fresh and large serving sizes for an average to moderate price. definitely a more of a takeaway joint as very simple and minimalistic but stillniceand friendly staff

the ratios are all wrong and that's where burger inc starts to go so wrong.
the bun is huge and dense. the beef patty is small and always really dry. there is aniceamount of sauce, usually aioli, relish or mustard, but it doesn't make up for the other fundamental burger construction misgivings on most options. and i cant forget the fried chicken on the menu, it was so incredibly salty no amount of sriracha could improve that oily, salty crumb and meat. once was enough not to want to the chicken anything again.
i'm not sure if the staff are rude, but they certainly don't improve the experience of ordering or eating in at burger inc one bit.

whilst making a pretty picture, the simplicity of the ingredients with relish & aioli weren't able to save the burger. the buns were hard and tasteless whilst the patty itself was very dry.
overall: my hopes for aniceburger to complete the trip was shattered. nothing much else to say about this burger joint. give it a miss.

worth travelling for. i got to know about 'a great burger place' in geelong after one of my food searching forays took me from melbourne to geelong to secure a couple of loaves of la madre bread directly from the bakery. whilst there i notice mountains of breadrolls, which upon enquiring (coz i wanted to buy some) were destined for burger inc. well, weeks later, i made the journey again to geelong, this time in search of geelong's best. i've just got home from a three hour return car trip.

burger inc. is a well honed establishment, somewhat out of the way of the heart of central geelong. in fact i was expecting the joint to be packed to the rafters with burger-philes. no so. burger inc is a small place and appears to cater to the take-away crowd, rather than dining in. if this place was in melbourne, they have 20 or more tables packed and a queue outside.

can't remember the menu number of the burger i selected however i do recall it being the special extra large (was feeling a tad piggish tonight). along with it i ordered a medium serving of chips.

this place offers old world service - real meat, real bread, real everything. even the paper bag in which my order came in felt heavy and stiff. nice. veryniceindeed.

taste? bags of taste. weighty and meaty; the way a great burger should be. the aforementioned la madre breadroll was a worthy partner to the layers of deluxe ingredients that made up the burger. the meat was juicy and meaty, not a hint of cardboard, i'm please to report. the relish and tomatoes, well, tasted of tomatoes. bacon, pineapple (not my fav, but what the heck, it wasnicetoo) and beetroot. the chips were great, a firm crust on the outside and fluffy inside. a bit lacking in salt and so it didn't pack the full punch it was capable of. saltiness is such a personal thing, so, take this comment with a grain... of salt.

verdict - pretty much the best burger and chips i've had in a long time and certainly worth the three hour round trip. i can still taste the big flavours in my mouth and lips.

well done burger inc. you have a new fan. i just wish you were closer to melbourne. travelling 80k's each way for a burger must put me in the category of freakin' mad.
