miesto so skvelou mladistvou atmosférou! miniatúrny roh budovy s pár miestami a barovým pultom, za ním chalani, ktorým počas našej návštevy akurát chýbali drobné aj nápoje, čo by bol obyčajne dosť fail, ale oni to podali s takým čarom, že to nikomu vôbec nevadilo. burgre sme skúšali aj klasik aj vegetariánsky a obidva boli vyyybornee! presne spĺňajú definíciu toho, čo burger má byť - rýchle, chutné, sýte a lacné jedlo. burgerbarstojí za návštevu, ak neočakávate vysokú gastronómiu, ale obyčajné super jedlo 😄

the burgerbarhas been a roy institution since 1956. i am sure that it was on a small country road back then. with it's location at a busy intersection and close proximity to i-15, it has exploded in popularity. places like this create a cult-like following. add to this the fact that burgerbarwas featured on diners, drive-ins & dives . it has the 50's style outdoor walk-up counter. can we say americana? there are some concrete benches out front where you can sit down to eat. the other option is to take it to-g

(pivo tu zial nemaju.)

keep going , you're doing great :) za mňa/nás jednoznačne 5 a keby sa dalo dať viac dám viac :))

good old-fashioned eating. i think too many self-proclaimed foodies are going here and wanting an experience that burgerbarnever intended nor pretended to be. those who aren't able to discern local burger fair from flamboyant gourmet eateries and adjust expectations accordingly are not true foodies... they are posers.

burgerbaris a mom-n-pop burger joint that serves wonderfully rural food meant to please the people that live around it. it tastes of pickles and fry sauce because that is what the people who eat there enjoy. it is a cultural experience that is unassuming and laid back. the servings are well worth the price, and the flavors are distinctly old-school 50's utah.

if food network is your eating bible, and anything less than iron chef seems like mcdonalds to you, then perhaps you should stay away as this is not pretentious enough. otherwise, i highly recommend coming and kicking back with the locals and eating some good grub served with a smile.

nostalgia? yes...tasty cooking? a big no. wow, talk about an over-hyped eatery. first thing, why charge extra for tomatoes when i'm already paying $6.50 for my double cheese big ben? and since their fry sauce comes with everything, i have to say that they make it much too strong of pickles. it makes everything they put it on taste predominately of pickles. their big ben is on the pricey for what you get and is surprisingly bland besides the taste of pickle juice fry sauce. patty is thin, limp and underseasoned. their nasty fry sauce just clumps up on the heaps of shredded iceberg lettuce and squirts out the back of the burger with each bite. it's like a bad, larger and blander copy of an arctic circle burger -- as a matter of fact they copy many arctic circle menu items here including their grape lime rickey. their fried mushrooms and onion rings lack seasoning and also suffer due to their nasty fry sauce.
the locals are very loyal to this place, thus the many positive reviews. it's the outdoor, neighborhood atmosphere in the summer that appeals to folks, and the 50+ years of nostalgia and tradition, but it definitely is not the food. waits can also run ridiculously long, even when you are the lone freezing cold customer in winter. this place is a major disappointment. makes me think ddd is not always honest when they choose a place to highlight. burgerbaris about as boring and bland as can possibly be.

great food. the burgerbarreminded me of a mom and pop place back home in ga called the dairy spot!

burger was awesome and a ton of onion rings! the sauce was something of a familiar taste i made as a kid combining mayo and ketchup, but is great on anything!

i will go back again, and again!

brings back memories.... i remember hitting this place back in the early '80s...it was great then, and i'm sure it's still good now.

grew up in ogden, and there were many times (in high school) we'd take an 'extended' lunch to drive out to roy for a big ben.

burgerbarhas always ranked high on the list, along with kirt's (north ogden), warren's (riverdale) and a little place at 2nd and harrison (ogden) that sold the 'ya burger"......
