it still seems to hold that fun, traditional, burger-spot atmosphere. the gals taking & filling orders are very friendly and efficient.

rockin'!. stopped at burger bar, coming into slc from vacation. it's a walk-up only place, where you order at the window and then wait for them to call your number over the loud speaker. between the two of us we got a veggie burger, onion rings, chicken tenders, french fries and a strawberry-flavored yogurt milkshake (which they have as an option in addition to ice cream-based milkshakes). stopped here to mark a ddd place off our bucket list.

everything was off the chart fantastic except the veggie burger (which was decent, not stellar). the rings, ff, tenders, and shake were awesome and every bit ddd worthy.

will definitely be back when vaca travels take us through roy, ut again. you can count on it.

i love burger bar. we were raised on burger bar. i grew up in clinton and sunset, we always ate there. now that i live 150 miles away every time i go up north to see my dad burger bar is my first stop. those greasy fries and onion rings call my name and i have to answer. love it!

just terrible - order was wrong, took it back, wrong again, decided to eat it anyways. burger was cold, bun was smashed, toppings were scattered outside the bun. i can't figure out why anyone would eat here. i never will again.

great food. the burger bar reminded me of a mom and pop place back home in ga called the dairy spot!

burger was awesome and a ton of onion rings! the sauce was something of a familiar taste i made as a kid combining mayo and ketchup, but is great on anything!

i will go back again, and again!

the big ben was great. its.... the big ben burger was great. its a simple burger with fry sauce and it tasted great and fries were really greasy which i didn't not like. its just to bad that its so far away from where i live.

they have some of the best burgers in town. it's made fresh when ordered and the employees treat you right. they have awsome shakes as well. they may be a little more pricey than all the other burger joints but its money well spent.

i figured the joint would be good when i talked with a regular who had been frequenting since he was a child many a decade ago. let's see if the regular's years of loyalty were worth it.

i’ll admit it; i’m a sucker for anything on food network’s diners, drive ins, and dives. from small town bars featuring only a handful of tables to well-known and nostalgic looking american diners, food network’s latest hit is sure to satisfy both the app

brings back memories.... i remember hitting this place back in the early '80s...it was great then, and i'm sure it's still good now.

grew up in ogden, and there were many times (in high school) we'd take an 'extended' lunch to drive out to roy for a big ben.

burger bar has always ranked high on the list, along with kirt's (north ogden), warren's (riverdale) and a little place at 2nd and harrison (ogden) that sold the 'ya burger"......

way below average!. we stopped here because we had seen it on "diners drive-ins & dives" (food network) and could not have been more disappointed. the burgers were thin, flat, flavorless, and dripping with way too much "fry sauce". the chocolate shake was not even thoroughly mixed -- when i got to the bottom there were big lumps of soft serve and chocolate syrup. the fries were good, not great, just good. the place is over-rated and over-hyped.

now that in 'n out has made its way to the slc area, these places will need to up their game if they want to maintain business.
