once again the newwintermenu did not disappoint. i had the garlic bulb starter and my husband had thewintervegetable creamy soup. both starters were generous and filling. we opted for starter size mains one being the rabbit lasagna and i had the seafood linguine. the two mains were delicious but defeated us both as we were stuffed. my mouth was black from the seafood sauce on the pasta ( not recommended for a first date) too full for dessert finished with a limoncello. the bill came to less than £40 with drinks. the staff were very attentive and even finished with a complimewntary flaming sambuca and chorus of. happy birthday when they discovered this was the reason for our visit. obooking is advised as it does get busy but this in no way affects the service we received.
