buffalo grill

eclectic dive. buffalo grill is a great little hamburger joint with a funky type of vibe. fantastic foot long chilicheesedogs and burgers. thecheesedip is a favorite, with almost every table ordering. the menu is simple and not pretentious. no fru fru food here - just great burgers, sides, and a cold beer ( if you want).

i have been to the buffalo grill 6 times in as many years and it has consistently worse. it's got a great menu, but the food has become more neglected a sub par each time i go until i have given up. at its best it is mediocre, and at its worst, it is down right disgusting. i ordered acheeseburger today that had no flavor, no "grill" marks, no seasoning the burger had the consistency of meat and wet bread and wasn't even hot. the bun came right out of the bag. withcheeseand standard fixins, $10. store bought onion rings. the foot long had a plan stale bun with a run of the mill dog, and it was $10. with a bowl of chili, i spent $31 for a meal i wouldn't have paid $20 for. sometimes, if you have operated a restaurant too long, you ether need to put in a truly renewed effort or give it up try something else. i've learned my $31 lesson.

buffalo grill has had a presence in central arkansas for as long as i can remember. they've tried other outlets in west lr and nlr that didn't make it, but the original place on rebsamen park has always had all the traffic they can handle. they have several tasty sandwiches, very goodcheesedip, and a great hand-formed cheeseburger. i'm not a big fan of the sides served with the sandwiches. the standard ruffles chips are underwhelming, and the upgrade to fries is disappointing too because they're rather plain fries. overall, it's a good choice for grill food, and the service is efficient and nice.

buffalo grill offers a solid burger that's one of little rock's favorites.  goodcheesedip, quesadillas and salads, too.  shame the west little rock store didn't survive, but the original rebsamen triangle location is still fantastic.

maybe the best burgers i've ever had that i didn't cook. and i've been coming here for 25 years. they never miss. the fries are great - fresh cut and perfectly cooked. thecheesedip is just that - the standard bearer of lr style orangecheesedip. lo these many years later i still adore this place.

good food, nice staff. great menu selection...something for everyone. my personal favorite is the chicken quesadillas with bacon. thecheesedip is a must-have.

not bad. they have some pretty decent food. i went recently with a friend and she had the cheesy fries with ranch dressing. she had a choice betweencheesedip or meltedcheeseand she chose both. the platter was huge with a ton of bacon, jalapenos andcheesescattered all over. the ranch dressing was fresh made and rich.

i had a bowl of chili. it wasn't too bad. it wasn't spicy enough but nothing half a bottle of louisiana hot sauce couldn't cure. it was also served warm not hot. waiter had kitchen reheat it and it was the perfect temp. i like a place that when there is a mistake, they promptly correct it and don't make excuses.
