the menu lacks imagination. the people doing the cooking lack passion for their job and it all shows on the food. they have revamped the venue, it would be advisable if they did that what is presented on the plate.

never had a bad meal here. my son and i had lunch at the roadhouse grill on thursday we arrived at 12.15 and were greeted by a smiling waitress and showed to the table my son had chicken schnitzel salad and chips and i had beef schnitzel with salad and chips we enjoyed our meals we were finished and back in the car by 12.45 a great meal excellent service and very reasonable prices what more could you ask for??

we came here for mothers day breakfast buffet. what a mistake that was.
this is hands down the worst breakfast buffet we have ever been to.
no eggs. uncooked bacon. mashy pancakes. overcooked tomato. "pre cooked" toast that was dry and hard. had to pay for tea and coffee?! haha really guys?! it was terrible.

when i went to ask for a refund i over heard another lady giving feedback. bad feedback.
at our table the 4 men ate but us 4 ladies didn't. we asked for a refund for the 4 of us as we didn't eat!!
the supposibly duty manager refused a full refund.
$25 per person is a joke!! you pay that in the city.

i love this place as  the service is fast and the staff are always friendly. love their pizza, reasonably priced meals which are always yummy. the atmosphere is very relaxed.

have been going to roadhouse grill at browns plains for years. the meals were always awesome!! recently menu has changed. unfortunately quality has changed too. bit sad really. haven't been back since tough meat and soggy chips :( :(

i was dragged over here one night with a group of friends expecting the worst ! pleasantly surprised by the salad i had. bush spiced pumpkin, loved the addition of the dates, had a great spice hit too, when all i thought i would be offered was steak & chips & normal run of the mill carnivorous pub food!

over priced for what it is. $30 + drinks for a tough steak and chips? no thanks. it's a basic pub meal.

the renovations are great but still an over priced pub at the end of the day.

my friend and i have eaten out every friday for years. we use to go to different restaurants but found  at roadhouse grill it has everything we need and want. namely good service by the staff and wonderful food presented nicely. the meals are ample size and ewe haven't had a bad meal since we've been eating there
after dinner cappaccino's are perfect and the staff now remember us and make us feel welcome. well done browns plains tavern

i've eaten here 2 time i had a mixed grill the 1st time was prity tasty mix of food and prity good service also just a little on the pricey side the 2nd time i ordered a meat lovers pizza over the bar the pizza was great nice home made style base just crispy and ok amount of toppings could of been slightly bigger for the cost

great set up food was fantastic had sticky ribs full rack others had barramundi & chips.
fantastically cooked meat even the salads were delicious. staff were awesome very helpful even when spilt drinks & they replaced at no extra cost that was fantastic & they were very supportive & helpful would definitely recommend to everyone & anyone would definitely go back again. very satisfied.

we went in during a peak dinner time and only waited for about five or so minutes. the service was simple with ordering up at the counter and then brought out to your table. i had the chicken schnitzel that also came with a side of chips and some salad. i really enjoyed the meal and it was great value. the restaurant itself was quiet and comfortable and the employees were friendly.

as far as pub meals go the browns plains tavern is quite nice. it is very popular at dinner time(5pm+) so certainly book a table prior to coming. each day there are different special in regards to soup and fish meals. i ordered the bacon and potato soup from the specials menu and loved it. also the bruschetta is amazing (and also huge).

i can to the browns plains tavern with my family and a few friends for dinner and the food was great. i got the wagyu pie with onion rings and a gin in tonic for under $20! my dad got the 400g rump rare with the monthly special of adding half a lobster for an extra $9.95. the steak came out perfectly rare but the lobster was slightly over cooked but still nice. we will certainly come back for more meals here.

not a fan of this place, it was great when it was was renovated. now the meals are average at best. the meat is always over cooked, i'd expect that from a $10 special rump, not a $30 rib fillet like last time we visited, or in tonight's case the ribs were tiny and dry with a teaspoon size of coleslaw. won't be back too many let downs.

update stopped ordering the steak here but everything else is good and nice to priced. had an amazing southern fried burgerast week for only 14 dollar with chips and it was so good. plus their sweet potato chips are amazing.

we have had many great meals from here after the reno's where completed. a great place with pretty reasonable prices. quality is up there to. great place for dinner

fantastic food! a regular on our "dinner outing" rotation. everything i've eaten here so far has been so good! steaks, fantastic. mixed grill, awesome. schnitzel, delicious. mars bar cheesecake, the thing that has been missing from my life!!!

staff are hit and miss with whether or not they're rude, and i've *literally* only started coming here since they redid the interior (nb: before they redid this place was rough and uninviting)... but now it's retro and a little stereotypical but i like that.
