loved it. i went here on the weekend, had the avacado on sourdough with lemon, which was the best i've ever had, and great value for $7.50. they also have secret recipe iced tea, and that non-alchoholic german beer - some interesting options! the iced tea was great and i'll be back to try the beer. my wife got their iced mint pineapple frappe which was perfect.

other options on the menu looked good too, the food coming out was well put together. i'll be back for sure. didn't try the coffee but they serve a di bella blend if you are wondering, and the machine they use is a wega if i remember correctly.

i liked the theme of the cafe (dogs!) which was done in a fun way.

only suggestion i have is if they can, some more seating outside where they is plenty of space on the other side of the cafe, would be great. this place reminded me a bit of de clieu in melbourne.

had breakfast here on sunday, food the service very good, the food very tasty, but found the venue very hot and sweaty, as also the menu isn't that big. if a lover of full sunday breakfast and section then this is not your place!! but worth a look if a casual feed is needed

tops!!. this is a great little place, nice atmosphere, really pleasant staff, a reasonably priced menu and good coffee! can be crowded at peak times, but still service is efficient and friendly. lovely in the morning before work or after a night shift! all this and you get a prime view of an architects vision of a jacaranda tree!! (you'll know if you've seen it! i wish they'd share whatever they were on)

great cooffe and perfect service!. brown dog cafe is a favourite of locals and visitors. owners christian and lucy have built a great reputation with fantastic coffee and good food, this gabba corner is a sleek, casual & extremely friendly place to have a light lunch/saturday brunch. (corner logan road & nile street)
