brio tuscan grille - murray

i really hope we were not the exception here and i am not leading you all miserably astray, but we had such a delicious meal here, and i finally have a reason to go out for italian food again! i mean, you really can't buy bell-shaped pasta at macey's (i think), and somehow it just tastes better in that adorable shape :) if you're craving italian and are finally ready to cut off the chains which bind you to the hour+ long waits at olive garden, brio is definitely the place to go!

i made a weeknight reservation for 5 well in advance, was 5 minutes early and still had to wait 10-15 minutes. several similar size walk in parties went in before we did. hostess not rude but not friendly. waitress was the same- not particularly friendly. food was below average. veal was dry as shoe leather. was disappointed.

i was pretty disappointed with the food. it wasn't worth what it cost. the service wasn't great either.

we had reservations for dinner on saturday and they were needed. katie was our server and did an excellent job. we were seated relatively promptly and drink and food orders were taken promptly. food was well presented and prepared. all four of us were very satisfied with our meals. prices were reasonable. the restaurant validated our parking ticket for one hour and added to the two free hours city creek center gives you, we had three hours of free parking.

not happy!!! we were given a lunch menu and when we were ready to order the server said we couldn't order off of the menu they had given us and she went and got us the dinner menu. much more expensive for the same items and it no longer included a salad. on this app many reviews talked about the great bread. we didn't get any bread and none of the tables around seemed to have any bread. for the price we should have at least gotten at least a breadstick. our vegetables were also cold.

so for my first visit i went in looking for a good steak my server suggested the gorgonzola crusted bistecca this was amazing cook to the perfect medium rare. he also suggested an excellent pinot noir called sketchbook. man my taste buds were in heaven. to finish it off our servers favorite dessert was the new york cheesecake fabulous :-) just want to say thanks to jonathan and to brio chefs for making this an excellent experience we definitely will be back

good food and ambiance probably worth the price. i've had better dining experience downtown at city creek but food is good and fairly consistent quality at both locations. good food for a chain restaurant and flavors are robust. loved the carpaccio and how you can order just the smaller portion.
once i sat at the bar on a busy day (it's a holiday and all tables are reserved) but it's during that restaurant limbo time when lunch was just getting over and dinner service starting. slow. service. and utah--what's up with the drinks made behind the zion curtain? makes you wonder if they put something in there that they shouldn't.
anyway, was here another time for brunch. bisque, bruschetta, hash, salmon. still good food but waiter is somewhat a snob. so undeserving of the 25% tip he got from my party. he could've smiled. then i would've overlooked how he couldn't pronounce minestrone and bruschetta properly. i mean, if you're gonna be a snob then you better get your italian tongue in place.

great flavors and high quality. we went for the first time. the quattro bruschetta was amazing! it is high priced, but lives up to it with fresh pasta and quality. we will be back.

very enjoyable. we had a wonderful dining experience and great service as well. the server gave great suggestions and was attentive without being overbearing. the food presentation was impressive as well as tasty. i would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

great food - excellent service. had such a great time at this restaurant. went with some girlfriends for lunch and although the restaurant was busy it didn't feel crowded and we did not have to wait for service. the food was great. the portions were generous and our waiter was so good. we even treated ourselves to dessert and were not disappointed. i can't wait to take my husband there i think he will love it.

beautiful bruschetta. are you headed to brio? try the brio bruschetta quattro plate. i loved having a sampling of all their bruschettas. my personal favorite features prosciutto atop asparagus with fontina cheese all on a crusty flatbread. delicious!

the shrimp mediterranean had just the right amount of spice and a citrusy pesto vinaigrette that tasted like spring.

we finished with their flavorful bread pudding. i do prefer more of a crunchy crust on top, but the custard sauce made up for any lack of texture. it comes with a garnish of vanilla ice cream.

we were well taken care of at brio. with it’s elegant atmosphere it could easily accommodate casual lunches as well as a celebration dinner.

total thumbs up. i went to brio last night and i am still thinking about how great it was. everything i ate was fantastic and i had a lot of food. my favorite appetizer was the bruschetta sampler. there were different flavors all working beautifully together. usually when i order a wedge salad there is too much cheese and dressing on it. the wedge salad at brio had the perfect amount. i will say one word about the carbonara, wow! i also tried two different steak dishes that my friends had ordered and they were equally good. then after all that, there was no better way to end the meal than to have the chocolate molten cake. unbelievable night! thank you brio for the great food and service.

delicious food! the steak and desserts are excellent. the service is great too!

we tried the bruschetta quattro which is a sampling of four different bruschettas. this picture really does not do it justice – these are amazing ( my favorite were the roasted red pepper )!
