the place to be. love this place. food is always solid and, even creative, for bar food. (love the pierogies). fantastic selection of beer (and wine) and great service despite the crowd and chaos. very kind to kids, as well, though i'd love if they had a few more kid friendly offerings. only complaint is the crowds...but then again... who wants to eat somewhere no one else likes??

easy atmosphere. it's always a pleasure to come here even when we have to wait a bit. the bartenders are patient (my wife has to taste several beers usually before she finds the right one). the servers are knowledgeable of the menu items and do a great job looking after us. the food is delicious and presented excellently! we've been several times over the last 4 years but not enough for them to "know us" and every time has been great.

amazing atmosphere, completed by a great beer list and filling pub food. my friends and i visited this pub and tried at least 12 different beers, 3 appetizers, and 4 entrees. everything was a huge success, especially the ipa aprihop. stop by, enjoy a frosty beverage or two, and a few appetizers. the large pretzel with mustard was great (i've never had mustard that tasted quite like that), along with the red-pepper hummus.

everything here is perfect: food is fresh, first-rare even for a foodie town, and the ever-changing beer selection that features local offerings and great belgian options as well. ambiance is great, too, and service friendly, efficient, and reliable. one of the neighborhood's best spots by far.

absolutely love this place - they have boddingtons on tap - what's there not to like? i also recommend the chili (served in a boule of bread!) and the fish-and-chips are a winner for sure. really though you come here for the fantastic selection of beer in various forms.

the ambiance of the place is just amazing - warm, rustic and friendly. my idea of a pub for sure. this is a great meeting place for friends and family.

i can't even count on both hands how many time i have been here. this is one of my favorite haunts around. always great beer and fantastic food to suit. they have a new beer list every single day, what's not to like? i have had rare beers here that i have only had in belgium such as bruges zot. they also have a cellar full of limited bottles and every local brew around like three taverns and wild heaven. the food is great, to start get the pretzels with pimento cheese or the cured meats and cheeses plate, really can't go wrong with either. this will set the mood for the entrees. great sandwiches such as the meatloaf sandwich and the most underrated burger in all of atlanta is here! the half chicken plate is great and enough for two adults. the fish and chips is a solid classic. the best is the cast iron pot pie but get there early because they always run out of it. the only thing that isn't worth it is the pork belly sandwich, pork belly is just greasy and overrated most of the time. so venture to this great gem and enjoy a life changing craft brew. cheers!

we stopped at brick store pub on our way down to the georgia dome to see a falcons game. we’d heard traffic was going to be horrendous because of georgia tech playing that night also and vp biden in town, so we decided to take marta downtown instead of driving. you can practically fall out of the brick store pub and land in the decatur marta station and we had eaten there before so we wanted to know if it was good as the last time.

we walked in and were seated right away. it was early for dinner but we wanted to eat early, ride the train and be in our seats with plenty of time to spare before the game. we soon had our drinks and decided on a cheese plate to get started.

our server was kind enough to help us make our selections and was quite knowledgeable about the cheese they served. we decided on the sgd asher blue, oma and l’amuse gouda. when the plate came it’s served on a wooden plank and each cheese is paired with a side item and it comes with bread.

the blue is paired with apple and it made a really delightful combination. the oma is paired with peach slices and its truly perfect together. finally the gouda comes with pecans and it is really amazing. the cheese plate was fantastic! last time we visited we chose the charcuterie but we melanie largely abstaining from meat, the cheese plate was the perfect selection.

for our entrées, i chose the pierogi primavera that is served in a garlic parmesan cream sauce. our server pointed out that this is a vegetarian dish and he recommended adding the andouille sausage to it. great recommendation! if you aren’t familiar with pierogies, it’s a polish dumpling that can be filled with almost anything but many times, they use potatoes. that’s the way it was in this case and it was fantastic. this is not a mild dish, but its not overly spicy either. it does have a bit of heat and may not be a good choice for diners with a mild palate. i thought it was awesome and would highly recommend it as the dish has tons of flavor and is quite filling!

melanie went with the chicken pot pie and thought it was the absolute bomb! the crust was flaky and tender and the inside was piping hot and filled with bite-size chunks of tender chicken. this is a must have and perfect for the rainy weather we were having this evening!

brick store pub is casual and a great place to meet friends. they have a large craft beer selection and its reminiscent of an old english pub. the food is excellent and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. we think that you’ll have a fantastic time at brick store pub!

meaty & tasty

brick store pub has a fun and friendly vibe. all the servers go out of their way to make you welcome and to take care of your needs.

the food is heavy on the meat. we particularly enjoyed the burgers, meatloaf sandwich, brunswick stew and the trout.

prices were reasonable.

the atmosphere is awesome. i have only ever drank here but have heard the food is pretty good as well. i agree with some of the previous reviews about the service being a little rude, but if you are just there to drink its whatever. it's a fun place to meet up with friends.

brick store pub is just that. a local pub but possibly one of the best ones in the metroish area.  pubs are not destination dining and let’s be honest, decatur is destination dining if you do not actually live in decatur. it’s dark, seedy in the best possibly way, multi level (bonus-more is better!) loud  as any self respecting pub should be, and most important a killer alcohol selection-namely beer. if you’re into that sort of thing. i only go to a pub if i am with a fella that wants  his hops-on.  as a devout wheat beer woman i have to be coaxed and educated into other options and with options like brick store has then why not? variety is the spice of life and indeed that is what you get here. the staff has always been very knowlegable in guiding in the right direction if you get overwhelmed or stumped. bonus that there are no tv's here. do you really need that competing with everything else going on in there? let’s not turn a pub into a sports bar or cnn depression zone.  pubs evoke moods and that should not include competition or political debate. we’re all friends here. let’s keep it that way. the food is well past decent by pub food standards. the decatur crowd would lynch anything less.  country chicken pate is noted contains bacon. a surefire selling point. get it.  decaturized hummus done with white bean variation and a play on bangers and mash in the style of the south: sausage and grits. delicious pub blasphemy of arugula salad and a vegetarian sandwich feature for those of you watching your heart palpitations.  usual suspects are there though fear not. chicken fingers, burgers along with the holy grail fish and chips and shepherd’s daughter pie. i’ve been before and i’ll be there again. happy to know you, brick store pub. posted may 1, 2012 author stephanie anderson kyma. a review. kyma is part of the reliable buckhead restaurant group family of moderate to fine dining eateries.  it’s generally a safe assumption that any of their establishments will deli
