excellent. a small group of us ate here for cinco de mayo. the restaurant was at full capacity and yet theservicewas excellent. we shared a couple of appetizers and entrees and everything was delicious. a great find. will return often.

great food, slowerserviceat this locale. if you hit up brasitas, you'll have a great latino meal. part of the best reason to come: their plantain chips with salsa. these are entirely worth the visit! :) but, they also have fresh ceviche and a full menu of bright and flavorful dishes to check out. when we went here last time, theservicewas a bit slow and we did need to ask for our waiter a few times. despite that, it was still a good experience.

waited 25 min for drink orders to be taken and then another 15 min for the waiter to come back w the drinks. we ordered, a runner brought the appetizers & entrees- food salty & over sauced. oh we had to ask the runner to bring us utensils. our waiter didn't come by to see if we needed more drinks, after our table was cleared of food & drinks we waited 18 min for the waiter to bring us our bill and that's only b/c we asked another waiter to go find our waiter. we gave the tip in cash to the runner as he earned it. overrated, poorservice- will not be back.

don't judge a book..... had my first dinner at brasitas this week and all i can think is, how did i miss this place? the location is not exactly prime and the outside decor made me think if was another small latino restaurant serving unremarkable food. was i in for a shock.

yes, the prices are high, but the food is so well prepared, so delicious and beautifully presented, that i will gladly go back to try everything on their menu. as another reviewer wrote, the salsa and plaintain chips are amazing, a good indication that someone in the kitchen knows what they are doing.

i had the blackened red snapper, so sweet, moist and cooked just perfectly witha little crunch to the coating, on top of a mound of mashed potato and avocado with corn, on top of a delicious, delicate sauce that my companions kept swabbing up with their forkfuls of arroz con pollo and chicken carribeno (both excellent, the arroz chicken the moistest and juiciest i've ever had with just enough garlic to pack a punch, and the carribeno with a light curry sauce and tropical flavors).

the flan was okay, the tres leches cake sweet and satisfying without being too heavy. even the house pinot grigio was good.

only nitpick: the lighting is so dim it can be hard to read the menu, or figure out what is on your plate (is that a chunk of plaintain or beef?). other than that, i was impressed with the food,serviceand casual but friendly vibe.

all that's good. for over 15 years i have practiced that you can judge a mexican/ latin resturant by it's "salsa" and chips. this is abundantly clear. their freshly made salsa and plantains is simply perfect which leads to great food food, great attentiveserviceand lively, cozy atmosphere. listen, for a night out to eat with your significant other or with the family, this is a great place to visit.

very good!. i love their food and theserviceis great. i think of it as hispanic fusion food. everthing tastes fresh, and the food is presented with a fun twist. it is very different from any other restaurant in the area.

i'm a frequent business traveler. brasitas is fantastic. insipid suburban strip mall, but atmosphere, food, andservicewere great. complimetary crispy plantains with fresh salsa were addictive. salad with avocados an braised short ribs were beautifully preseented and absolutely delicious. i've had a lot of meals on the road, and this one was really, really good. also, several tables speaking in spanish - always a good sign!

a favorite. brasitas has become a summer tradition for me and my group of girlfriends. the food is so good and so is there sangria and tequila! also have to mention that theserviceis great - the staff is super friendly. every year we have the same waiter and he always remembers us. such a great time!!

latin american recipes done right.. food &servicevery nice, the noise level can get high at times and some of the tables are in dark spots where you actually need a flash light to read the menu, though some will find this romantic. we had the colombiano chorizo ragout appetizer which was tasty, along with a chimichurri lamb chops which were delicious. the whole menu has a nice mix of different flavors and spice combinations based on the latin american palate. would go back again for sure.
