visited the place with family for buffet the ambience is pleasant to start with starters were served on the tablechicken65 which dint even tasted like it,chickentikka was the worst none of us could eat i am sure it was stale, honey chilly veggies was with too mch honey surprised a 4 star restaurant couldn’t even balance the taste falafel was served which was aloo tikki mutton bhuna was not even chewable the only reason if giving 1 star was the fish which was served later was fresh and crispy the main course khousuey was the only edible thing rest all was blank i would never recommend anyone to visit this place service is not welcoming at all hardly 3 stewards managing the place. i like centerpoint hotels however this place has been extremely disappointing.

the food was bad the starters they served were pre made n kept and super dry. especially thechicken65 n mutton really bad .
more over when it comes to the main course
the kheema kalije was over spiced . the biryani was about to get spoiled .

there was no freshness in the food
imagine on a weekend
felt like they were serving the food from their near by banquet hall .


the service was poor
no one was entertaining the guests much .
i wonder how ppl eat food as we all landed up in gastritis.

and yes coming to the dessert
there were fruit cuts that were not also being refilled over time and hardly any variety .
would never recommend anyone ever
disappointed & dissatisfied .

well during my stay at hotel centre point, nagpur i got a chance to have dinner at their signature restaurant bougainvillea.
very simple but attractive decor, courteous staff is something that will attract you at this place. i got to experience a lovely new years eve buffet at this place and i was thrilled. i’ve visited so many restaurants which serves buffets but the buffet at this place really caught my attention.
their elaborate salad bar included charcuterie platter, lovely poached mural fish, cold cut platter, beetroot and green apple salad and many more delicious salads which i couldn’t even remember. each one of the dishes were presented beautifully and they were great in taste. to be honest i’ve never seen such a beautiful spread for salad till date.
they had some lovely starters like paneer satay, mutton kheema kebab, hariyalichickenkebab which were amazing. my personal favourite was the paneer satay.
they had some lovely main courses including good variety of veg and non veg dishes. each one of the dishes were flavourful and delicious.
for the desserts also there were good variety and each one of the desserts were beautiful. i would highly recommend their baked gajar halwa.
i consider myself really lucky to have gotten a chance to enjoy the new years eve buffet.
the live music was a plus point to the ambience.

great food, ambience could have been better however loved the overall experience. lovedchickensteak and would definitely visit again.

kemon acho? it was around 4 years back when we had a sudden splurge of bengali cuisine in nagpur foodies. aparna chowdhury, aka apps kitchen, had arrived. a teacher and a housewife. we all , including me, kept asking her to start her own restaurant and we all wanted to taste her food. here i am, back in nagpur and at center point hotel meeting her as she welcomes all foodies at the ‘the bong bond‘ festival.

as soon as we walked in, the soothing bengali music and decor welcomed us. the ambience, the attire, the aroma - one is taken on a journey. aparna was present on the floor, she is also dedicated to the kitchen. her cooking is excellent and the quality of ingredients used is the best. #centerpointhotel has kept its touch by providing good service and quality ingredients.

🌼they have a separate chaat booth where one can hog on jhalmuri❤️ ( my personal favourite ( have it with mustard oil! ), gupchup ( from the streets of #kolkatta to #nagpur), ghughni ( i was too full to taste).

🌼snacks are served on the table , demir ( egg) devil,chickenkosha, vegetable chop, macher kobiraji ❤️, beguni, dhoka palonger tikia. piping hot and amazing! they are mostly fried and go perfectly well with beer 🍺.

🌼 main course was a lavish spread and i just could not get enough of mutton biryani and shorshe posto kaatla( fish in mustard sauce)! plenty of vegetarian option and for me the eggplant dish was the winner. luchi ( maida puri ) goes well with kosha mangsho and channer dal. vegetarians you have plenty option, the kumdo bhaja and lau malaikari gets special shout out.

🌼 dessert bar is obviously seductive, i gave full votes to 😌kheer and keshar bhaat. a huge matka of mishti doi sat in the middle.

i am surprised no #nagpurbloggers have posted any information on this amazing event. one should promote such events and food diversity - even if you are not paid to do so or invited for free food. if we can promote mcd junk food 😁 - this is real food which actually takes nagpur food scene a notch up.

who should go here ?

foodies/ bloggers who are craving for something different at nagpur, those who love seafood, those who drooled over aparna’s cooking for years, those who love bengali food, those who want to have a different and quality dining experience at #nagpur !

priced perfectly at 800 ₹ (unlimited buffet) and 1000 ₹ ( with - beer 🍺 unlimited). so for beer lovers this is one amazing deal. we drank - foster was on the house.

october 13, 2019 is the last day of festival.

note: i am not a bengali so excuse me if i have made mistakes in names. my personal recommendation- ❤️macher kobiraji , ❤️jhalmuri ( with mustard oil), ❤️ kumdo bhaja , ❤️kheer and yes the ❤️plastic chutney 😉. menu may change slightly daily.

but , main course didn't impress me in terms of taste and options available.

service : quick

cost :702 for one.

we had gone for a buffet party and i must say they are serving nagpur's one of the best buffet. 😍
4 veg starters 4 non veg starters.

prawns were missing !!
but thenchickenn fish starters were super tasty 😋

i could see variety in their non veg menu but less in their veg menu.
murgh biryani, i remember very well, had strong flavours.
desserts were ultimate 😋😋 and variety you can see in the image.

overall it was a really wonderful experience 😊

found this place while searching for some nice buffet place. this place has a beautiful ambience and the interior is beautifully maintained. 
coming to food and drinks. 
i really liked the welcome drink (fruit punch).
in the starters, we were served with four nonveg and 4 veg starters  :
creamy meatballs
fish koliwada 
spicychickenwings 
veg kababs 
paneer tikka 
these are some of my favorites. 
for the main course, some of my personal favorites were :
murgh biryani 
mutton roganjosh (the best)
paneer lababdar 
chicken curry 
now for the dessert, i didn't like the dessert par of it, everything was quite dry and crumbly. (-1 just for this )

this buffet theme restaurant is present in one of the best hotels in nagpur, the iconic center point hotel. the ambience is soothing. service was excellent too. the buffet food was excellent with many options served. the starters were very delicious and tasty - every veg and non veg item was good. the mutton malai meat balls,chickenwings, paneer and fish were excellent! desserts and sides had varieties to offer and were equally excellent. must visit.
