i've been planning to try this place for some time and finally went here with my team.
the ambiance is good and cosy. one of the major issues i faced is parking; it's very difficult to park.
we were met by ms. spardha who was very courteous and extremely helpful during the whole time, especially during the food selection. special thanks to her. and if course the whole team to make the dining experience memorable.
coming to the food, following are the items weordered& their reviews:
mocktails:
all the mocktails were served in the jar type glasses. my personal preference is fancy glasses and no the jars, but it's ok.
masala lemonade, cranberry breezer, classic mojito, cafe americano.
blue lagoon: my all time favourite and thankfully bouffage maintained the respect for the drink.
kiss of monroe: awesome presentation. ( it seems that there's a special attachment to monroe, as many of the themes were based on the person)
starters & main course:
tandoori soya chaap: really good. must try for anyone.
spring rolls: i am always afraid to try these as there are many places who turn up the crispiness to a fearful level; but here it was pleasant & the taste was also good.
garlic bread: normal, nothing special to mention.
classic chilli paneer: would expect the paneer to be more crisp on the outside. it was like eating paneer tossed in spices.
volcano potato: now this was something new. potatoes filled with paneer & spices( and more potatoes), baked & topped with melted cheese. the presentation was awesome, the taste was ok. may be if the fillings are made a little more spicy, it would taste good; reason being, potato itself is bland so the filling has to be strong.
fiery chicken wings: well .. one word: awesome. it was a properly cooked & mingled good with the spicy spices ( thought of ordering another plate, but due to "lok-lajja" didn't do it)
red pepper diamond veg: this was suggested by ms.spardha. it was bell peppers & a tupe of kofta(?) cooked together. was something new & tasted good.
mac & cheese: i'm going to beat up the person whoorderedit. reason: it tasted a little too bland for my taste & too mushy.
veg lasagna: every restaurant has their own recipe to prepare this & here too the taste was totally different. it was average.
spicy burnt noodles: looked good, didn't eat it, so no comments.
grilled chicken sizzler: well..... it was a great presentation & tasted good. it has fried rice, mashed potatoes, chicken fillets covered with sauce, french fries & baked vegetables. the 2 things which i didn't like were, the mashed potatoes were topped with sweet creame; c'mon folks... this completely changed the taste and was not good. the other thing was too much of cabbage leaves... my suggestion: use lettuce leaves... reason: you'll use less of the leaves & it would smell & taste much better.
so in all, the experience was good, we had fun, we had out bellies full and we were happy. requesting the bouffage team to work on the suggestions.
