there is a great mix between casualness and sophistication in the details and service that attracts families. there were many children of all ages lastsaturdaynight. they have some tables outside but there is not fence between the parking and the dining area. their bathroom are ready for all!

i went out to bollo woodfired pizza on asaturdaynight with my girlfriend. they had a private parking lot with many spaces available, and when we walked in, we were seated right away. luckily, it wasn't super busy even though it was asaturdaynight. the restaurant and bar was dimly lit, and they had a private room in the back for more of an intimate setting. they also had an outdoor patio available.

the waitress told us that all of their pizzas were 12" large (8 small slices), so it would be wise to also order a small plate in addition to a pizza. she advised us that their two most popular small plates are the crispy calamari (side of marinara and tzatziki) for $12 and the lobster ravioli (tomatoes, creamy white truffle butter, and shaved salt parmesan) for $10. we ordered the lobster ravioli. it came with two raviolis, but they were quite large. it was good, but i wouldn't order it again.

we also ordered the diavola pizza. this was made with buffalo mozzarella, spicy salami, roasted red bells, arugula, and crushed red peppers for $15. the crust was soft like a thick piece of naan bread. the pizza was good, but nothing to rave about.

overall, i liked the restaurant and the food. the service was good. our waitress was polite, and she made sure to pick up empty plates from our table and give refills on drinks. if you're looking for a low-key dimly lit pizza joint, this is a good spot.
