no bookings please, we're too popular. bodega do not welcome the large group unless everyone is present and accounted for. it took some persuasion to secure seats for our latecomers. the tapas on offer were however worth the cooler than thou approach to seating! indeed, surry hills up and coming set seem quite enamoured with bodega. but it's no wonder when there is such a great selection of original tapas and a decent wine menu on offer. the wagu we had from the specials board was quite memorable, as were the sashimi kingfish fingers. it should also be said that, once seated, the service from our 50's rockabily styled waitstaff was quick, professional and warm in all the right amounts. just make sure you're on time!
