as you may have read in previous posts, i recently stated a new job in the northtowns, getzville to be exact. lately i've been driving around on my lunch break and trying to see exactly what i can find. today's post features a been a place i've been dying to try since we started buffalo eats. while researching buffalo'sfoodscene and history one if the first places i heard about was bocce club pizza. somehow it took us almost 3 years into this blog for me to finally take the drive down hopkins to stop into bocce club's takeout location. i won't go into the long history that is behind the family ownership of the 3 bocce locations, but the transit rd. location isn't mentioned on the hopkins/bailey menu and i know somehow imperial pizza in south buffalo was/is involved. if you'd like more information you can read this buffalo chow article from 2008 or leave a comment below. what i do know is that i absolutely love their whole-milk mozzarella, sweet sauce and large fluffy crust. quick inf
