terrible service/ruined our night. we made reservations for a large party, and understandably larger parties are more difficult. that being said the service we received was the worst i've ever experienced in a restaurant of this caliber. when we sat down our server ten minutes to come over and take our drink order. after she took the order it took another 15 minutes to receive our drinks. in the 25 minutes that it took to get our drinks she didn't ask us about appetizers or tell us any of the dinner features for the night. when we received our drinks we placed our order for appetizers and then we didn't see the server again until those came (about 15 minutes). at that point she took our order and we ordered more drinks. the salads came out pretty quickly, but then we waited for 45 minutes for our entrees to come out. i understand it was busy, but during that 45 minutes she came over 2 times. our water glasses were empty most of the night unless she came over every 20 minutes. the worst part was after getting our food, which was very good, we wanted to get our checks because we were looking to go have dessert somewhere else. it took her another 45 minutes to bring us our checks. she had a very difficult time separating it and then it took her another almost 10 minutes to return them with our credit cards. it ruined our whole night because our reservation was at 7:45 and we left the restaurant at 11:00. i don't mind having long dinners, but 3 hours and 15 minutes is a bit absurd. the manager ignored our request to speed up our checks and basically blew us off. i will not be going back to this bob's ever again and recommend one of the many othergreatsteakhouses in dallas because there are too many good ones to go to that won't give you such horrible service.
