oceanfront. is that not enough?
we’ve always gone there for breakfast as the eggs benedict is consistently satisfying. this time we went for dinner as well.
booked and got the best spot ever. right at the front where we got to people watch, and felt like we were the only people in the restaurant and the lovely sea breezes, would be hard to make it a bad night.
entrees were oysters. nice and fresh and i ordered kilpatrick and they were loaded with bacon...not great for my arteries, but great for my taste buds and my wine.
mains were a bucket of mussels (refer pictures) and omg it took me to my happy place. such a simple dish but just delicious. hubby had pasta. not sure what it tasted like as i forgot to taste it. was far too preoccupied with my own dinner.

fitted us in during the busy school holidays for early dinner and so grateful they did.
staff were amazing, food was delicious and the deserts were the real surprise- exceptional - apple crumble is a must have. all the entrees looked delish but so glad we chose deserts instead - you won’t regret eating here!

was surprised boardwalk wasn’t on zomato so i added it. have dined at boardwalk years ago, however, this time around i just ordered some take away.
🍽 seafood chowder + sourdough toast ($10). the chowder contained salmon, snapper and cuttlefish. all seafood was cooked well and the soup base was thick and creamy. it came in a large takeaway cup which was later plated in a bowl at home.
