good bacon, bad service. i'm ashamed to admit it, but i've eaten here over and over again for years. i am about to give up.
the food is generally pretty good - tasty burgers, yummy breakfast entrees - and the ambiance is nice as well - dineresque with a distinctly kitschy feel. the service, however, borders on criminal. the wait staff all seem to be friends of the owner or the owners themselves - regardless of how they got there, they need a lesson or two on customer service. the servers are consistently rude, forgetful, and generally more concerned with chatting with the few regulars at the bar than actually paying attention to their tables. during my last visit, the server went around the table to take drink orders and walked away without even asking everyone at the table. after a 15 minute wait to order and a 45 minute wait for food, we enjoyed a tasty meal but our high hopes were again dashed against the rocks by a unhelpful server and slow kitchen.
