the taste of the food was good, however the ambiance definitely puts you off. it's cramped and doesn't feel like fine dining at all.

biggest red flag for us is that they don't put all of the necessary allergens in their menu. we ordered their japanese-korean vegetable pancake (without the bonito flakes) because their is no indication of any meat at all written on its description in their menu only to be surprised that it has shrimps on it. it was meant to be eaten by a vegetarian who also happens to have shrimp allergies.

they offered to buy medicine for allergies and to have the food changed but the fact still remains that a crucial allergen such as shrimp is not in the description of the food.

food- good. the description on the menu is accurate
service- good service. the quality of service is acceptable. acceptable because a few of the waiters were actually very kind and demonstrated good maners however some didn't live up the dining experience associated with the ambiance of the establishment.
ambiance- the design of the room is okay. it's more elongated into an l shape. not as open as i'd like but once you get to eating it isn't noticeable that the dining area isn't that big.
price- the price is good for what you get. some dishes are more expensive than their actual worth in terms of ingredients and preparation. the other dishes are almost spot on for the price.

our fave restaurant in the south! they have the best yang chow, incomparable! shrimp poppers and roast beef are must try! you’ll keep coming back for more ❤️ bonus that every one behind this place are very kind and attentive; from the owner to his staff. kudos to all of you! 🙌🏼

it's a good fine dining, with an affordable price. plus, their complimentary soup is very tasty. i just found their crews not very acommodating and their place a little uncomfortable. i don't know, i just felt a little uncomfy when we ate there.

service and the quality of food is really good. the pricing is reasonable. it was also a good idea to come up with combo meals to cater solo and small group diners. one of the best restaurants in solenad.

we've looked around solenad for a good quality yet affordable restaurant to try, we've found this! set meal starts from 235php (includes soup and iced tea), but their ala carte are quite expensive.

we have ordered:

1) pork belly with green mango shrimp rice (235php) - pork was a bit tender, sauce was just ok (my mom can prepare binagoongan better!) sorry bistro charlemagne! :d, but the combination with the green mango is a great idea! good job!

2) crispy dinuguan paella (235php) - good servings, nice presentation, great taste (a bit sour, but it really blends with the pork and the rice and some veggies.)

3) coconut fish fillet (235php)- i wasn't able to try this, sorry! :d

4) sisig with fries (ala carte) (can't recall the name of the dish) (can't remember the price too!) i find this combination a bit weird, for me, sisig doesn't fit much with the typical fries, but the sisig itself tastes good, and can be shared by 2-3 medium eater. 5) plain rice (can't remember the price too. haha)

we went here for the lunch sets. each lunch set did not go over 300 pesos. we got the lengua set meal. the lengua was very soft. you can cut it with the spoon, but the gravy felt cold and lumpy.

the seafood bake did not look appetizing at all. it looked like the sauce of seafood noodles put over rice. taste was alright, but nothing special.

i guess we expected more from a restaurant rated 4.5 stars even if it was the lunch menu.

the fusion of filipino food with other cuisine is really impeccable. charlemagne has been our usual stopover whenever our family goes south, and over the years the food still tastes the same. kudos to kuya noel for making our dining experience awesome!

best resto in solenad 3, hands down! you'll never find another restaurant that serves high quality food with affordable prices. lastly, give their soy chicken a try. this meal alone will give you all the reasons to go back to this restaurant again and again.

i was not able to take a picture of all the food we’ve ordered cause we were already so hungry plus we have impatient kiddos with us hehe, but anyway, the service was quick and the staff were very nice, we ordered the beef tenderloin with cheese, i loved it, im a big fan of food with cheese 😃, we also ordered the ox sisig, it was a different kind of meat and i liked it, the little asia crispy chicken was a classic, the yang chow fried rice was a real delight as well, i plan to visit again sometime to try the other dish, without the impatient kiddos ofcourse to take a picture of the food as well 😃

the place is really classy. the chandelier and table theme make it more sophicated.

they offer "budget set meals" so it's quite affordable than in the past.

because of the reviews posted, i tried the most reviewed dishes in their menu.

shrimp poppers - my fave! i just love how they made it so creamy. the fried shrimps balanced out the savory taste of the sauce.

beef tenderloin rolls with cheese - i was rather disappointed with this since most of the reviews are all about this dish. the cheese overwhelmed the beef too much that all i can taste was cheese.

little asia's crispy chicken - it was a classic chicken prepared. it was good but not extraordinary (i forgot to take a photo of it)

octopus ala pobre - my dad ordered it and he said it was rather spicy. for me, it's just fine but not worth-remembering

mixed creamy seafood rice - my mom ordered this. the serving is for two people so we had to help her finish the plate. it was also okay but i can't say it's the best.

s'mores - i like the presentation but what i love the most is the chocolate underneath. i believe they used pure tablea and milk. you will surely want to dig in more. i wish the amount of chocolate is more than the mallows.

decision: 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

i live in sta rosa laguna and this is my go to place when i'm in nuvali. great food and selection especially at this price point. lovely ambience that will make you think its a pricey place but it's actually quite affordable for mall restaurant standards. if you're in the area do check it out

looks classy enough for us to try it out while we were looking for a place to hangout in solenad, sta. rosa. a bit pricey but they do have set meals to compensate for it.

we enjoyed their asian tuna tataki salad (php325) the most. their combination chow mein (php345) is pretty good as well. set meals we ordered were the creamy seafood baked rice (php225) and the salt & pepper squid which were just so-so. set meals come with free soup and a glass of iced tea.
