craving to eat something 'chocolate' in a hot summer afternoon let me to order biskut's nutella muffins and belgian chocolatechipbrownie from zomato for my office colleagues. both were bang on taste, gooeyness and softness. ordered a second time and they didn't disappoint. can't wait to try their other stuff.

you guys deserve an applause.

1st review

a pocket friendly place. the varieties of muffins and cookies can be found no where else in ahmedabad except biskut. owned and managed by 2 friendly ladies who are very courteous.

2nd review on my visit after 18 months:

18 months back when i was invited by a friend at her place. i knew she loved muffins and i wanted to take some for her. i searched on zomato and biskut was the highest rated place. that is how my visit to this place happened. we all loved their products so much that we became regulars. then my journey to explore more places started and i never got the chance to visit biskut again. though i believe that there is nothing like chance, rather it is about priority.

i recently started following biskut on instagram and few days back there was a post from them that they were lauching speciality breads that included butter croissant, plain & multi-grain baguettes. i decided to visit them again. i knew biskut had moved to a new place which is nearby to the old location.

you won’t believe i was so happy to be there, started feeling nostalgic. i felt the new place is more beautiful than the earlier location. it is tiny with one round table, chairs and a table affixed to the window with few stools. i ordered a croissant to start with. for those who don’t know all the products they sell are eggless. the butter croissant was yummy, i devoured it in not more than two minutes. i then had a belgian chocochipmuffin. i cannot describe it’s taste in one word, but let’s say it was delicious (they use callebaut chocolate callets). then again had a croissant. please don’t judge it by how it looks, judge it for it taste which will not disappoint you.

i had always mentioned and re-iterated today to aanchal with whom i had a good interaction that the reason i loved and love biskut is because i feel it has a big heart. there is absolutely no chance that someone would not like biskut and its products not to mention the reasonable pricing.

today’s lunch happened to be my unplanned reunion with one of my favorites. i really enjoyed the time spent there and promised myself that i will not miss visiting it on a regular basis.
ps: after having 2 croissants and 1 muffin i started feeling high and drowsy. be careful! lol

after reading such good reviews on zomato, i decided to try this.
based on my online order-
baklava muffin- the sweetness was so perfectly balanced and the muffin was fluffy.(5/5)
olive jalapeno flatbread- it seemed to be freshly baked and the taste was too good.(5/5)
belgian chocochipmuffin- very good.(5/5)
the pricing is also very pocket friendly and the quantity is sufficient.
looking forward to trying their cookies and brownies.

i got myself a few belgian chocolatechipmuffins. i have been a huge fan of muffins.

and this one,from this cafe, was oh-so-scrumptious and soft, that it melted in my mouth with the first morsel.

beautifully packed, it was a total mood lifter.

the dark chocolate chips inside the muffin and a little coffee chocolate base, just added to my delight.

i am gonna visit again soon! must try place!

and happiness happened again when i ordered myself a double chocolate muffin along with a few others that my colleagues ordered.

we ordered: double chocolate, pistachio baklava, caramel almond, & belgian chocolate chips muffins.

the double chocolate muffin was heavenly indulgence all by means.

the best part being, sugar was balanced. that is always my major worry with desserts in gujarat. more often than not, they tend to be over sweet.

it is a must try muffin variety!

i did manage to taste the others as well and here is my experience:

pistachio baklava: it was beautifully topped with a whole lot of pistachios. melt in the mouth soft and buttery. indulgence overload! must try again!

caramel almond: i thought this one was a little too sweet for my taste, good but not great, like the other varieties. i guess the combination of caramel sauce with white chocolate just over did the sweetness.

belgian chocolate chip: reviewed at the top.

i would visit the bakery in person soon and try all the other varieties of muffins, flat breads, & cookies!

i have fallen in love with this place. i ordered myself some delicacies in less than a week after trying a couple of their muffins.

i got a few of the previously reviewed muffins & a new flavour: nutella. this turned out to be better than the double chocolate one, as it is a little subtle on the chocolate.

i also got a box of coffee chocolate cookies. they were super fresh & crunchy. the flavour of both coffee & chocolate came out really well. the coffee aroma was amazingly sexy! i have never had anything like this before!

and it happened again! i ordered for myself a whole lot of stuff, guilt free indulgence! they had the usual menu items available and with it, was some extras they had prepared after serving a party order, which included sea salt and caramel donut and paneer calzone pocket.

i got cinnamon roll, sea salt and caramel donut, olive jalapeño mozzarella roll, and paneer calzone pocket.

cinnamon roll was okay. i guess i had high expectations from such a simple thing too, because this cafe has up the muffin standard so much in town! but the roll was not too bad, in fact the cinnamon aroma was killer.

sea salt and caramel donut was yet another amazing experiment. i loved the balance of salt and sugar sweet. just perfect! another one of their must try's!

olive jalapeño mozzarella roll was interesting and flavoursome. it was super fresh, and tasted like it was right out of the oven! must try again!

paneer calzone pocket was tangy and a bit spicy. though i feel it would have tasted better had it a little lesser olives. but i ain't complaining at all. it was nevertheless delicious to the core! not a must try though!

yet again, i couldn't stop myself from finally dropping by their new outlet, all previous orders were online. i got for myself and family the below listed items:

cranberry, lemon, & honey: this is one of the best tea cakes one can ever have. i have totally fallen in love with their lemon and honey flavours, the added cranberry brings about an amazing tangy sweet twist to it. absolutely must try!

cookie fudge brownie: another masterpiece! the crunchy cookie bits, goey mocha fudge, and scrumptious brownie, is all what you need to make your day. totally must try!

strawberry cupcake: this one was average, now that this outlet has set my expectations high sky. the strawberry flavoured buttercream frosting seemed perfectly balanced sugar wise. and the vanilla sponge was as good as ever. but overall, not as exceptional as their other offerings!

belgium chocolate mousse: this was the best mousse i have ever had really. dark, dense, and so sinful, extremely smooth texture. i am gonna get another one for myself very soon!

cheese jalapeño roll: this was an interesting roll with jalapeño bits stuffed in the bread folds, and sprinkled with cheese. i found this average taste wise, again not as outstanding as their other products.

almost everything on their menu is a must try!

there was hardly any chocolate in belgian chocolatechipcookies and the texture of the cookies was a little too soft for my liking.

i had ordered belgium chocolatechipmuffins , cheese jalapeno rolls , butter garlic bread rolls and double chocolate muffin. i was ordering for the first time as still haven't visited the place but heard alot about it. the butter garlic rolls was not available because it was being baked and that was okay ...but i appreciate that the owner of the shop called me to inform the same and was very polite. i must say that the owner is very professional and polite. when i received the ordered , the aroma was strong as of it being freshly baked. the muffins was very soft , fluffy and fresh and taste was as having it in heaven. haven't ate like that in whole world. the cheese jalapeno rolls was fresh and good. i am in love with biskut's muffins and bread and i am going to order everyday to have it with my coffee.

i've only tried the muffins and i am super happy.
gotta keep going back for more stuff to try.

tried the belgium chocolate muffin and the chocochipone.
super soft and fluffy. perfect with your coffee.

best thing i had one after a day, no refrigerator, and still they were perfectly soft!

belgian chocolatechipbrownie: 5/5

it's probably the best brownie i have ever had. absolutely loved the texture, and little belgian chocolate chips interspersed over it made a great bite. i generally prefer fudgey brownie better but i went ahead and ordered the non-fudgey one from the menu. it was moderately cakey and i am a fan. i can't get enough of it.

chocolate overload cookie: 4. 5/5

tasted some of it and it was richly dipped in chocolate (both sides had a generous layer of chocolate). the crumble texture was really good.

super excited to try more from the menu.

these brownies are rich and at the same time not too dense. they’re filled with chocolate chips and surely a delight for brownie lovers.⠀

my first time here, and wow, was i amazed! the place has been done up so beautifully, really charming. i tried the caramel chocolate (with a homemade buttery caramel gooey centre), the belgian chocolatechipmuffins (so moist, yum), the baklava muffin (expertly made to be the best tea companion), and their buttery chocolatechipcookies. don't miss their fresh cinnamon rolls, they'll make your day.
do try this place for excellent (and eggless!) bakery. you won't regret it at all :)

made a quick visit to this place on valentine's day. quite a boutique bakery i must say. unfortunately turned up a tad late for the day so could get my hands on only three gems. the wife ate up the brownie and liked it a lot, meanwhile i devoured the amazingly moist muffins. the vanilla and dry fruit one is a steal. the chocolatechipmuffin was a bit turn off as it wasn't as moist as the vanilla one. also it was the last piece for the day and i guess it was prepared in the morning expecting a busy day ahead. nonetheless definitely coming back for the vanilla muffin and to try the brownie and other things on the menu.

very tiny and cozy bakery. earlier we had so many things from this place. but never visited it. so thought to visit it. we had a cinemon roll and double chocolate muffin.
i didn't like cinemon roll as i don't like the taste of cinemon ,it's for those who love cinemon. i loved muffin. full of chocolate and perfectly soft.
i love their redvelvet cookies too which i've tried earlier and also chocolatechipmuffin.

the baked goodness!
so, i had been introduced to this amazing,
cute little bakery a few months back by a fellow foodie cum friend cum office colleague. ever since, this place has been added to my go-to, mood maker places’ list.
being a bit extra of a sweet tooth; i have tried biskut’s all the muffin varieties.
and i am glad to tell that they’re all oh-so-fab!
1. belgium chocolatechipmuffin
this signature muffin of theirs is sure on their most-selling list. its perfectly baked, perfectly soft and has the right amount of chocolate chips.

2. caramel almond muffin (personal favourite)
this one’s the sweetest of the lot and has the melted caramel topping when hot.
the ones who don’t prefer little too sweet should avoid but for people like me, it’s heaven!

3. red velvet muffin with cream cheese frosting (must-must try)
this red attraction from biskut swayed my heart away when i took the first bite. the cream cheese plays the role of ‘cherry on top’ here. highly recommend! it is rarely available for delivery. you need to personally visit this place to enjoy at least this one!

4. pistachio buklava
this muffin is loaded with real pistachios (mind well and not the essence) with the authentic baklava taste. i am not a fan of things that contain pistachios (though i love then eating as is) but every other person in my circle who has tasted it, loves it.

5. double chocolate muffin
the combo superbly dark and sweet chocolate, this one from biskut can become any chocolate lover’s instant favourite.

this was all about muffins (long and descriptive reviews because i so love them). apart for this, biskut offers 2-3 variants of brownies. freshly baked focaccia breads, calzones, varieties of cookies, granola bars and chocolates.

i would say, try everything at least once, it’s worht it!

heard a lot about this bakery and decided to order belgian chocolatechipbrownie and chocolate truffle cookies.
the order came in a nice brown paper bag and had nice pacakging on both items

belgian chocolatechipbrownie: yummmm!!!!! one of the best brownies i ever had! it was freshly baked and the right amount of fluffiness. it just melted like butter in mouth. melted chocolate chips adding to the flavor. absolute delight for the taste buds - 6/5

chocolate truffle cookies: these were packed in a nice plastic jar and were aesthetically so pleasing. but the taste was of regular hard baked cookies with cream between them. liked them but hard baked cookies are not of my personal choice - 4/5

the cookies and muffins are so economical that i shall make sure to try all items soon (and their brownies on repeat). hope they continue to serve great 'biskuts' at great prices forever 😋😊

their belgian chocolate cookies are not just cookies, its an experience. best way is to warm it up a bit and consume.it is a lovely place with really nice vibes. i also loved the chocolatechipmuffins, chocolate truffle cookies.
