mothers day breakfast. we went to breakfast for mothers day 2011 because we were looking for a new place to try eggs benedict with holandaise sauce so we tried the new biscuits cafe location on scholls ferry rd. it was busy, we waited about 1/2 hour. we were seated by the owner, ryan. very personable and efficient.
we ordered the eggs benedict, meat loversomeletand the kids ordered various pancake breakfasts (chocolate chip and blueberry). according to my wife, the eggs benedict was very good and she'd definately come back again; which is good because she's only complimented the eggs benedict like this at one other restaurant (the glenwood at the uofo campus in eugene). myomeletwas cooked well; eggs were fluffy, cheddar cheese was good and the bacon/ham inside theomeletwas thick bacon and tasty. theomeletcame with toast from montana wheat (awesome) and hash browns...i could have ordered the potatoes (like my wife had with the eggs benedict) which were good as well.
the coffee with the breakfast tasted like well-brewed strong coffee and kept on coming. and, it goes without saying, the kids loved the pancakes...chocolate chips and whipped cream has a tendency to sway a kids opinion.
