the servers are friendly enough, and the decor is comfortable-looking, but i did not have a good experience. i stand to be corrected, but their beer list only has molson products on it. in one of the best beer cities in canada, with incredible microbreweries less than 5 km away, that is an unforgivable sin for me. pure, unadulterated sin.
in terms of food, i had the chicken wings with the honey teriyaki sauce. the first bite was good, as it was a supremely salty delight. alas, its strength was its biggest weakness in subsequent bites. the saltiness was overpowering and made it more and more difficult to eat with each passing bite. admittedly, that's the only thing i tried. however, if the chef let these out of the kitchen, what other detail are they not paying attention to in other dishes?
all-in-all, while certainly not the worst dining experience ever, it leaves much to be desired.
