dinne on a saturday evening - rather disappointing.... i had made a reservation an saturday evening for 6:15pm, we (four of us) arrived 10 minutes early. it took ma a while to get the attention of one of the three young ladies at thereceptiondesk, the waiting area was busy - and the three of them were also very busy with their smart phones and conversation. but, i at least did advise my party had arrived and i was told we would be seated in about 10 minutes. after 2 trips back to thereceptionarea where (by the second time) received a very, very chilly response...we were finally seated at 6:55pm. we had an 8:00pm concert, as did apparently another couple at our table. it took almost another 25 minutes for the waitress to take the table's orders followed by another 15 minutes before drinks were delivered. while the food was tasty, the chef took a very long time - and he cooked the chicken last (which take longer than seafood and steak). one couple left before they received their entire meal. i and my group did stay, but ate hurriedly. my advice, do not go to benihana if you have any kind of deadline - even when they are advised (as they were for my group). and hopefully you will not experience the total lack of hospitality by the three-girlreceptionteam at the ontario benihana, they were a total joke. made the entire experience rather frustrating - i won't recommend or be back to this particular establishment.
