love this place! not only is the food good but the staff is always delightful to interact with and very friendly. new and inventive items are often added to the menu. we have never been disappointed. aa+

we had the crunchy fish and shrimp and it was delicious. i only wish we could eat dinner there too so i could try the fish tacos. food was awesome, staff was friendly, and price was great.

best place to eat in hernando county. becky jacks is by far the best place to eat in town, the food is amazing. usually i wouldnt write a review on anything but this place really is worth it. everything is homemade. the first bite will get you hooked.

used to be an awesome place now new owner steals all servers credit card tips , please tip your servers on cash or owner will take a pretty large portion of the tips . owners were very nasty to their staff , unappreciative, and couldn’t believe the way they run the restaurant now . john ran this place wonderfully , now that julie and steve are there place has gone way down hill . staff turn over is unbelievable because no one wants to work for them . kitchen is nasty , place is all over grimy , no gloves , hair nets or masks . personally watched a guy cook come in from smoking and grab food with his bare hands without even washing them . when they have more than 4 tables food takes up to an hour to be served . then if anyone is waiting the bi%# owner will come over and try to rush you out of your table after you spend your money . who does that ? the way they speak to the staff in such a nasty condescending tone is horrible. they just stand at the counter and degraded every staff working there . please don’t waste your time or money. the only reason they have good reviews is they ask all staff to write them when they get hired !

the kitchen in this restaurant is the nastiest i have ever seen. aside from the no face mask policy they have, they are not health code or health safety conscious at all. save yourself and loved ones from getting sick. if this place is representing anything it's that you can serve outdated trash in a filthy environment and stay in business.

i saw covid take a healthy person and kill them in less than 2 months. i’ll wear my face diaper proudly and pray for the highly educated of central florida

you should be ashamed! those "face diapers" have help save hundreds of lives. don't risk your health going to this dump.

delicious food, amazing crew and the owner is quite a personality. there aren’t many true americans left, but a true american deserves support and i stand with this wonderful business.

they have terrible food, their staff is rude (including xavier and others) and they have a complete disregard for the health of the public. they do not wear masks inside or outside. don't believe the lies that they are pushing. they will say anything on the internet but in person, they don't wear masks.

their seafood is also frozen and definitely not fresh. it is absolutely vile. honestly, that's super pathetic given that it's florida.

avoid this place like the plague. they clearly don't care about the health and safety of anyone.

also, as you can see, they also love to call people out for not being here but their "research" is pathetic. because obviously they know where everywhere that someone has been. lol. typical florida trash. their "leadership" is immature and as pathetic as their food.

from the "howdy folks" when you walk in to the "y'all come back and see us" service was great. huge portions and the fish reuben.. just amazing! after the sudden death of the surviving owner i'm glad to see the shack family still thriving!

do not recommend  over priced, $10 fried cornflakes, with bits of fish meat!!! the piece is huge, that's all about it. not much flavor on the fish part. i don't even know what kind of fish, or if that piece was previously frozen or fresh. it's so sad, we must eat this kind of things at florida gulf coast, where abundant of good fresh fish is available. $10 for fried cornflakes!!! with bits of fish meat? that's what it is. c'mon, guys, are you all northerners who have never had a fresh fish off the gulf? very over priced for what they are serving. the french fries were not even good, and the buns are stale. we are very disappointed. mcdonald's filet o' fish has more flavor, that's all we can say. we do not recommend. i would have put zero stars for the food. service was ok.

i've ordered from becky jacks about 15 times. always for carryout. out of 15 visits, at least 12 of them involved some type of bullshit. either they don't get my order right, probably because of the amount of back ground noise in the restaurant when they answer, or the person on the phone taking the order doesn't write it down right, they will fail to mention that they sub the fries with coleslaw because they were out of fries, but instead of asking you if it's ok, they just go ahead and do it with out telling you so you don't find out until you get home. they ask how u want your burger cooked but not once has mine been cooked the way i asked. don't get me wrong, the food is great, for overpriced food, but the service could definitely improve.

stopped in on vacation, we are from ok. and friends from texas. this place is great, crunchy fish is really good. don't pass it up.
