fantastic...and crowded. i was staying across the street in the hotel amaro and wanted a convenient, close by breakfast. this restaurant is in a shopping center building almost lost among the other businesses. it was certainly convenient, but was it any good? the answer is a resounding, yes! as i walked in the door, i realized something was up as the place was packed. i was immediately acknowledged and informed that there was one seat open at the end of the counter. i took it. the menu is extensive including stuffed french toast made with king's hawaiian bread. now that's special! i had a "standard" breakfast of eggs, bacon and hash browns and it was fantastic. this would become my favorite place in burbank if i didn't live in albuquerque. obviously, based on the packed tables, others have recognized this place as great. if you find yourself in burbank, do yourself a favor and give it a try. even if you don't live in burbank, this place deserves a drive of 50 miles. hey, no one walks in la anyway, right?
