well, not bad for designer pizza. sure, the pizza is very tasty, but in that designer pizza kind of way. i'm frustrated that you can't find a regular ny style pizza in sd and i've already gone on a rant about that elsewhere. ok, so they prepare what they self proclaim to be connecticut style pizza. i guess that means it will be short on cheese and toppings, really, really thin and kinda small, so small, that after sharing a pie with my wife, i had to pretend i wasn't still hungry for a while before we both gave in and had another meal because we were starving. i guess it's more about the trendy style of the place? fine with me, but the pizza was instantly forgettable. i mean, connecticut? really?

simple and unique. basic is not only a great place to have lunch, but it's a killer hang out for the evening crowds. food is excellent even though it's limited to pizza and salad, but who needs more?

skip this. pricey and certainly not worth the price they want you to pay for their pizza which is not average at most

potato pizza. why this is called basic i will never know. the largest ceiling fan i have even seen. there are artists painting, people drinking, a fashion show happening at the same time. oh my!

the only reason i gave this 3 stars was because the pizza crust was a little burnt. but hey everyone has a bad night. you just enjoy the majority of the pizza and not the crust.

it is an experience you should not pass up.

brick oven meets jersey. more like.... loves it... we stumbled upon this extremely hip pizza joint last year.... very unassuming located outside petco in an old warehouse. ultra trendy atmosphere only surpassed by it's awesome pizza.... very jersey style but made in a brick oven i believe. best in town. while you are there be sure to have a bloody mary.... served in a mason jar and spicy! best of all.... still kid friendly even with all its "coolness."
