barberitos southwestern grille & cantina

my first saturday night at home in years landed me at barberitos. i had kind of been waiting for it to open, and was not dissapointed. truly fresh, spicy, and not too much goofy stuff. i think it was eitherchickenor steak and have a nice day. this will be a tremendous success as long as they can do a "fatty" (their name, not mine) burrito like that everytime for like 6 and change. nice tortilla chips too... fresh, salty, corn chips like it should be. i have to say i expected much less. it was clear these guys were working hard to make a good impression on me (rightfully so!) and they were asking me how i found them and how i like the place and honestly, that's the way it should be. you never know who's going to walk in the door in this town so treat everyone like they are someone you are super stoked to have because it will be the dealbreaker. nice one guys...

used to be great! now... not so much. i used to love this place and maybe this was just one bad day... but i went here for lunch with a friend and everything was cold.. including the beans and chicken. thechickenwas also pink. we were over charged and when i asked for a receipt it didn't have anything on it besides how much i paid. i also got about 4 chips for my queso dip.

it was pretty good... comparable to chipotle which is a plus because we were very disappointed to find out this area doesn't have one. spicychickenis delicious! and their hot sauce has a nice kick! we will eat there again!

we are in town visiting from st. pete florida...we were looking for an inexpensive place to grab a quick bite to eat. it gave us that but thechickenwas dry and the fish they had looked very unappetizing. it was also uncomfortably warm inside. the cleanliness was poor. will not return and don't reccomend it.

heavy d lives up to its name. tim and i were on our way to visit the recently arrived landon cole miller at memorial…. we stopped for a burrito at barberitos just as they opened at noon on sunday. they were still getting things together, but knew they had to move fast for the sunday after church crowd. you will not be disappointed by the size or flavor of your meal. the spicychickenheavy d with chipotle tortilla is pictured. there are many choices - envision subway for burritos when ordering. after receiving the food - you can sauce your burrito with a selection of number different salsas - the verde is great. the atmosphere is very fast food and there is no alcohol. however - the cooks put out well seasoned and huge proportion burritos… very hard to complain.
